This semester we have lear ned kno wledge about all aspects of the Silk Road, and now, when we look again toward the road with vicissitudes in the

In troducti onThe Silk Road refers to the road opened up in the Han Dynasty, starts withChang an (now Xian) or Luoyang, pass with Gansu, Xinjiang to Central Asia, West Asia, and links the Mediterranean

5、countries land access. This road is also known as the overland Silk Road or Oasis Silk Road” . Historical SignificanceFirst, caravanon the Silk Road transported the rare animals, plants, leathergoods, herbs, spices, jewelry from the west to east, the n trade them for Chin ese silk, tea, porcela in, and other goods. 8、hese goods en riched Wester n and Easter n peoples daily life. Secon dly, after the ope ning of the Silk Road, smelt ing and sin ki ng tech nique of the Cen tral Plai ns spread to the Cen tral Asia promoti ng the improvement of the social production levels and economic development in the Western Reg

9、i on; Chin as four great inven ti ons and Silk weav ing tech no logy, lacquer arts also via the Silk Road pass all parts of the world to promote the process of world civilization.Thirdly, after the opening of the Silk Road, the increasinglyfreque nt diplomatic activity betwee n Western Regi ons and

10、cen tral Chi na closed political ties of each other. At the same time, some Western coun tries such asPersia n, Roma n Empire also sent env oys to China. That promoted the excha nge of Chin ese and Western cultures. Fourth, Buddhism, Zoroastria nism, Mani chaeism and Nestorian camewith the Silk Road

11、 in China becoming manypeople s faith and spread to the Korean Peninsula, Japan and other Asian countries along the Silk Roadbranch. In addition, the Silk Road has great significanee in promoting ethnic blend of art and cultural excha nge.3. the Value of Academic ResearchThe Silk Road is a typical l

15、e research value.3.1HistoryOn the history, from the Han Dyn asty Silk Road ope ned up to flourishi ng trade and freque nt cultural excha nges in the Tang Dyn asty Silk Road, rise of the Yua n Dyn asty Grassla nd, Maritime Silk Road flourished in the Song and Ming dyn asties, until the decline of the

16、 Silk Road on today, it s history throughout China s.Research significaneeof the Silk Road is not only confined itself, it alsocon tribute to our un dersta nding and evide nee of the political systems, econo mya nd culture,nation and religionof ancient China and even those in Central Asia, WestAsia

17、and Europe.3.2GeographyOn the geography, the Silk Road starti ng with the cen tral Chi na, throughXinjia ng provin ce, Cen tral Asia, West Asia, arrived in Europe and joi ns the NorthAfrica n, after a differe nt geographical patter n with differe nt cultural circles,the Silk Road knowledge can be us

It can also be used to research the relati on shipbetwee n thegeographical en vir onment and n ati onal cultural differe nces.3.3SociologyOn the sociology, the reas ons and process of eth nic ble nd, the media and way of cultural spread, format

And the Silk Road is a channel of economic and culturalexchanges between Chinese and Western, of courseit has unu sual meaning and value for the sociology.4. the Value of the Silk

Cultural tourism is the best carrier of the in herita nee and developme nt of the Silk Roadculture. And cultural tourism
