Grace reserves the right to reject any such applications for security reasons.nGate passes must be worn conspicuously by contractors in Grace at all the timeGRACE - Safety Excellence Gener

8、al SafetynSmoking uSmoking is only allowed at the designated smoking areas. nPhotograph TakinguPhotograph taking of any kind is not allowed in Grace without prior authorisation from the second line supervisors. All cameras must be deposited at security guard house.uIf photograph taking is authorised

9、 by Grace, the photographer must not take any photograph beyond the area approved. Light Hot Work Permit is required if photograph is taken in the process area.nTrafficuSpeed limit: 15 km/hours.uPark you vehicle at designated parking area. GRACE - Safety Excellence Personal Protective Equipment (PPE

10、)nMinimum PPEs at Process Areas and Tank Farm: Safety shoes, safety glasses and hard hats nOther PPEsnEar protector is applicable at any areas where noise level is above 85 dB(A) nFace shield shall be used when transferring corrosive chemicals or doing grinding job. Welding helmet shall be worn when

11、 a contractor perform welding work.nProper respirator shall be used when contractor are exposed to respiratory hazards such as dusts or chemical vapors.nFall protection shall be used when contractors work at height of 1.2 meters or above without proper handhold or foothold. nProper safety gloves sha

12、ll be used when handling chemicals, abrasion hazards, electrical hazardsnOthers as required on the job basis uAll PPEs shall be in good conditionsGRACE - Safety Excellence Incident ReportingnIt is the Grace policy to report all incidents at Grace premises. Those incidents includes:nLoss time inciden

13、ts/recordable incidentsnFirst aid casesnEnvironmental incident (any chemical release or spills) nFire incidentnNear missnAny other incidents result in property loss of the facility.nAll incidents shall be reported to Grace Plant Manager. Proper incident investigation shall be followed up.GRACE - Saf

14、ety Excellence Emergency ResponsenAn emergency alarm (sounding of an alarm in the building/plant) and PA system are used for all emergencies: fire, medical or environmentalnAll personnel must be prepared to respond properly in evacuation situations at the site. nWhen You Discover an Emergency such a

15、s a fire, medical, or environmental incident occurs in your building or area, you must: If you are trained and you are not in danger, put out fire immediately Report to your superior immediately Activate alarming device (break glass) Call the Site Incident Commander (if you dont know, call security)

GRACE - Safety Excellence PERMITS & LOCKOUT/TAGOUTnContractors must strictly abide by Grace Work Permit System for all construction, m

18、aintenance and repair work in Grace to ensure safety of all personnel, prevent the occurrence of fire or accident, and protect plant and process equipment.nAll contractors must obtain a proper work permit/s prior to the starting of their job. A proper work plan shall be submitted when applying a Wor

19、k Permit, if necessary.nAll contractors must ensure that their staff and workers, understand and comply with the Permits system and all related Grace procedures and guidelines to safeguard workers occupational safety and health. If a contractor goes beyond the work scope described in the Work Permit

20、, he need re-apply a work permit.nAll contractors must strictly follow Grace Lockout/Tagout procedures. nOther important permits include hot work permit and confined space entry permitnViolation of Permits & Lockout/Tagout Procedures is serious offence. 21、usekeeping is an indication of the level of safety awareness within a facility. Usually, if employees within a facility take enough pride in their work to keep the facility clean, the employees also focus on unsafe actions. nHere are some guidelines:Work areas need must be free from trash and debris

22、Walking surfaces must be free from tripping, slipping and stumbling hazardsWork and equipment storage areas must be free from disorderAisles must be marked and kept clearStairwells must be well-lighted and should be clean, free of any extraneous items and never used for storage of any kindUse signs
