1、Unit 6 Stunts Movie教学设计(第二课时)【教学材料】新世纪英语高一第二学期Module ThreeUnit6 Stunts Movie【教学策略】第二课时语言点的教学,让学生在了解文章内容的基础上对文章进行深入理解,掌握部分语言点和词汇的语用功能,并通过一些活动来检测学生的学习成果。预习内容: 1. 课文内容 : What is stunt?What kind of people can we call stunt professionals?Isitnecessaryto hirethe stuntprofessionalsaccordingtothe film direc
2、tors?2. 熟读课文, 找出不熟悉的单词词组, 并查询下列新词汇的用法: explode, injury,behalf, pride, risk, endurance.【教学重点】回顾课文, 帮助学生掌握若干重点词汇的用法 ( explode, injury, behalf, pride. risk, endurance ),并进一步理解文本主题。【教学难点】如何引导学生在情景中自然地习得词汇并能正确地使用, 以及如何设计一个精彩的活动使学生的输出更加有效地呈现出来。【教学目标】1.To help students get further understanding of the text

What can we learn fromhim?【教学活动设计】1.Pre-reading活动 1:Listening:听一段对话,两个人聊一部成
4、龙主演的电影,说到里面的特技,特别炫从而聊起了特技演员。听力文字:Lily: Hi, Mike! How about your weekends?Mike: Perfect! I watched a film named new policemans story, whose leading actor isJackyChen. He is my favorite film star. The film was very exciting. For example, he saved the people from the exploding building and jumped from
5、the bridge.Lily: Mm sounds nice. I like him, too. He playsKongfu wonderfully.But I heard that hewas hurt in the recent films, is it true?Mike: Yes. He is such a professional that he insists on doing all the dangerous stunts byhimself. So injury is inevitable. No wonder he is called thewalking miracl

9、ctors? (Yes, because the directors dontwant the film star to be injured)4. Why do we call Jacky Chen a walking miracle? (He suffered numerous broken bones and a holethe size of a coin in his head. He could endure all these injuries)这个环节是对已经学过的课文进行巩固,同时为下一步词汇的讲解做好铺垫。活动 2: News( 时事新闻 )Yesterdayan elec

Luckily,she was not badlyinjured.把时事新闻中的重点词汇和词组写在黑板上, 让学生有深刻的印象, 同时为下一步的教学做好铺垫。接着用
11、 PPT 上生动的图片引导学生去领会这些词汇的意义。PPT:2The shipexplodedwith heavy smoke.Therewas a big explosionin the ship. n.The man isexploding with anger.( 勃然大怒)Translation:当 Peter听到这个爆炸性的消息时,他爆发出大笑。用 PPT 的形式,让学生通过生动形象的图片来了解和应用explode 和 explode with的用法。并采用全句翻译让学生领会explode 的派生词explosive 从而扩大词汇量。The firefighter run/taker

16、图说话,这对于学生的理解能力,对于词汇的掌握程度,口头表达和创新能力都能有所表现。PPT 下面的文字是学生交流完成之后展示给学生看的,让学生把自己的故事和老师的故事作对比,发现不足或闪光点,更有益于对词汇和词组的掌握。在这个环节中,师生问答互动与生生 pair work 互动相结合,结合时事和课文更加易于使学生快速地掌握该词汇的用法。活动 4:呈现所学词汇,设计一个采访的话题,让学生根据所学词汇进行角色扮演,聊一聊最近的书籍或电影。explode, explode into/with,injury,be badly/slightly injuredon behalf of ,take pride in.risk (doing) sth,enduranceendure doingSuppose you are a reporter of a entertain magazine, and now you have a chance to interview the famous international film star Jacky Chen.
