3、 1a-1cOpen the books and ask the students go through the tasks in 1a and finish it.Then let the students read the four sentences and the teacher corrects their pronunciation and intonation to make sure they get the main idea of each sentence.Play the tape for the first time and finish the task. Step 5 Grammar Focus教师引导学生回顾Section A所学内容，结合例句导入“宾语从句”的概念，然后再让学生读Grammar Focus 左栏中的句子，师生观察这些例句，共同总结这些句子的基本结构和特点：宾语从句必须用陈述语序；宾语从句中不缺成分时使用引导词“that, whet

12、her, if ”引导，缺成分时使用“wh-”引导。然后呈现一些例句，让学生大声朗读并翻译。让学生读Grammar Focus 右栏中的句子，总结how与what的区别：How+形容词/ 副词；what + a/an+形容词+可数名词单数；what +形容词+可数名词复数；what +形容词+不可数名词。教师可以提供一些陈述句，让学生加以改编。Step 6 Pair work 学生按照4a活动要求造句，然后小组内进行交流，修正语句的不足。Then check the answers with the students.默读4b部分的信件并找出文中的宾语从句。At last let the st
