2、ated slippers, the style of the shoes, electric slippers, see in the dark When was it invented? It was invented in 1885. What are they used for? They are used for seeing in the dark. Who were they invented by? They were invented by Julie Thompson. 能力目标听:通过学习本课时的话题,能够听懂有关发明历史的对话。说:能够准确的用英语谈论发明的历史。读:能
3、够准确的读出本课的句型及相关的对话。写:能够利用被动语态造句。情感目标: 了解发明历史,增强科学意识。【重点难点】重点:能熟练掌握本课时的词汇及句型。难点:掌握一般过去时的被动语态。【教学过程】I. 复习热身1、检查生词预习 1)正音:学生齐读单词,有突出问题的单词由老师正音,然后重点强调,齐读。2)听写:让学生以小组为单位互相批改,小组长报告检查情况。表扬优异者,对于出错的单词教师结合单词结构,读音规则帮助学生识记生词。例如:invent, slipper。2、自由交谈1)复习巩固: 通过问答的形式,谈论第八单元的内容。2)为新课铺垫。 教师向学生询问有关发明的问题并引出本单元话题。例如:
4、1. Do you have a computer at home? Do you like playing computer games? 2. Does your father have a car? How much is it? 3. Is there a telephone in your home? Whats your telephone number? 4. When was the telephone invented? Do you know? What about the car? Who was the telephone invented by? 5. What is
5、 the car used for? What is the computer used for? II. 感知体验1、感知:将本课的主要句型结构“When was it invented? What are they used for? Who were they invented by?”板书在黑板上,鼓励学生根据自己的实际造句,把造的好的书写在黑板上。领读,齐读上述句子,让学生感知句型结构。2、体验: 让学生就自己所熟悉的发明用被动语态组织对话。例如: When was the TV set invented? It was invented in 1927. What is the p
6、en used for? It is used for writing. 让学生像这样以小组合作的方式组织对话。III. 强化巩固1、 教材内容。1a: Look at the things below. In what order do you think they were invented? Number them 15 (1=first, 5=last)1)读题目要求。2)读题中的句子,学生写下自己的答案。Answers:1. car, 2. the telephone, 3. the TV set, 4. the calculator, 5. the computer 1b: Lis

What are they used for? 2)读题目要求,然后读出题中的句子,教师先领读,学生再读,确定学生能够自己复述。3)引导学生听录音。4)放录音第一遍,学生只是听。放录音第二遍学生写下答案。5)检查答案。Answers: 3 1 26) 总结重点短语和知识:短语:scoop the really cold ice cream, shoes with adjust
9、able heels, batteryoperated slippers, heat ice cream scoop知识点: 1. be used for doing sth. 意思为“被用来做某事”,为被动语态结构。由于for为介词,所以后面的动词应该加ing, 即动名词形式。例如: The dictionary is used for looking up the words. Whats the computer used for? Its used for sending emails. 2b: Listen again. Match the inventions with their
10、 inventors and uses. 1)读题目要求和表中的句子。2)T: You will hear the same recording again. 12、oes. 2. 语法知识:被动语态1)主动语态和被动语态 英语动词有两种语态,即主动语态(The Active Voice)和被动语态(The Passive Voice)。主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者,被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者。如: Bell invented the telephone in 1876. (主动语态) The telephone was invented by Bell in 1876. (被动语态) The local newspaper interviewed him. (主动语态) He was interviewed by the local newspap

(被动语态) 2)被动语态的构成 被动语态由“助动词be + 及物动词的过去分词”构成。助动词be有人称、数和时态的变化,其变化规则和be作为连系动词时完全一样。3)被动语态的用法 当我们不知道谁是动作的执行者,或者没有必要指出谁是动作的执行者,或者只需强调动作的承受者时,要用被动语态。如: English is spoken in China. 4) 一般过去时的被动语态 一般过去时的被动语态由“助动词was或were +及物动词的过去分词”构成。例如: It was invented by Bell. They were invented by his father. These
