8、o. Eg.I asked him where he was going but he didnt reply. Who can _ _ (回答) this question? B. reply还可以作名词,意为“回答,答复”。 Eg. Thank you very much for your reply. reply 与answer区别answer 用法比较广泛,可指口说或笔写的答复,它是及物动词,可以带宾语。Reply指较正式的,经过考虑后的答复,它是不及物动词,不可以直接跟宾语。只有加上介词“to“后,才可以跟宾语。如: I called ,but no one answered it.
