By studying of this unit, well enable the students to learn different lifestyles of some millionaires , learn western peoples attitudes towards money and hel
3、p students build up correct attitude towards money.After studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of students growing of mind,I think the teaching aims are the followings:1.Knowledge objects: (1) the students can master the use of phrasal verbs with give, go and drop (2) the students ca
4、n understand the content of the lesson:(3) the students can read a text to find out specific factsAbility objects:(1)To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, and reading, Especially reading and speaking abilities.(2) To develop students awareness of cooperation(3) To use the information f
5、rom the text to finish some exercises3.Emotion objects:students can learn different lifestyles of some millionaires and different ideas about money , thus they can build up correct attitude towards money.According to the analysis of the teaching material and the studentslearning background ,I will u
6、se the following methods .II.the teaching methodsIn this period, I will take some teaching methods to help the students understand and master the text, and further deepen and widen their thoughts .They are: 1.Elicitation method 2. 7、he teaching aids: multimediaIV. the teaching procedures:Step1 Leading- in1.T: Greetings . First ,we will ask students to guess the subject what I decscribed to arouse students' learning interest. (As we know , it belongs to the A Material World . we will use it when you want to buy something in
8、a supermarket ? what s it ? it is money . )2. Ill show pictures of two millionaires: LiJiacheng, Bill Gates. let students guess who they are? Then ask students to answer following questions. Would you like to be a millionaire? Why or why not? . and give students 4 minutes to exchange your ideas with
9、 your partner .students will form different viewpoints about money .(T: According to students viewpoints ,we can find that different country and different people hold different view about money. Some of you think that money is the most important thing ,while the others have the opposite view. Next w
10、e will learn the text ) At last, carry out the theme of the text .(Money talks./ Money is not everything.)Step 2: Listening Now listen to the cassette ,you will know why there are such people that dont want to be a millionaire. Step 3: ReadingTask1: Fast readingIn order to solve some questions that
11、students cant understand . Ill give the students 15 minutes to read the text and raise three questions based on the text ,At last,get students to write them down on the blackboard and ask your partner to answer them. As for me ,I believe that money is really something but not everything .We cant say money i
16、s good or bad because money can be used by good people to benefit humans ,while it can also be used by bad people to bring disaster to humans .So whether we feel happy or not ,it doesnt depend on how much money we have but our attitude towards our life.Step7: Homework.
