They are very active in the English activities and show great interests learnin
4、g English. They have the confidence learning English well. In fact most of them did really well while learning the Starter Units. Whereas this unit is quite related to Starter unit1. 8、njoy the ABC song or Hello song, get the Ss to sing together.1 (2)Show some pictures on TV. Ask Ss to tell the meanings in English. See who can say out the most words. PracticeShow more famous peoples pictures to Ss. Ask them to introduce their favorite stars names, using
31、 the structures: His/Her name is and He/She is.( there are pictures of sports stars like Tian Liang, Gobe, Yao Minig, Michael Jordan and singers like Jay Zhou, Li Wen, Wang Fei and actors/ actresses like Jackie Chan, Li Lianjie, etc/Step4. Tasks of listening1.2a, Ss should first learn the pictures r
32、oughly before listening so that they will have a knowledge about the listening materials.Play the tape for Ss to listen. Ss Listen to the conversations and number the pictures then. Check the answers together. Explain any useful cue that is the key to the right choice.2.2b. Ss listen for a second. T
