Areas of particular concern to Nader include consumer protection, humanitarianism, environmentalism, and democratic government.Nader came to prominence in 1965,
9、 with the publication of his book Unsafe at Any Speed, a critique of the safety record of American automobile manufacturers in general, and particularly the first-generation Chevrolet Corvair. In 1999, a New York University panel of journalists ranked Unsafe at Any Speed 38th among the top 100 piece

27、Oral WorkRetellingRetelling is a way to help students produce longer oral presentations. At first students may find this part quite difficult. They may just recite the story. Thats all right. Later students are encouraged to retell the story in their own words. It takes a lot of time to finish it in
28、 class. Therefore, this part will be assigned to students to do after class and will be checked at the beginning of next class. The retelling training can be begun from guided retelling. The guidance used for retelling can be in the form of an outline, questions or a summary framework.Original text:
