4、he doctor said that Mr. Saleem was doing very well.2）变化分解，陈述句解题步骤。3）Tips1.直接引语是陈述句变成间接引语时，连接词常用that，且常省去。 2.人称的变化，变化规律常常是： a直接引语中的第一人称常变为跟主句的主语一致。 c直接引语中的第三人称变为间接引语时，常不变。 b直接引语中的第二人称常常依主句中位于动词后面的谈话对象而定， 若后面没有谈话对象，则常变为第一人称。3. 时态变化 ，若主句谓语动词是现在时，直接引语变成间接引语后的从句则无需变化；但若主句是过去时，直接引语变成间接引语后的从句中动词时态要发生相应变化：

5、注意:a. 直接引语中的过去完成时 变成间接引语后则仍然维持原先在直接引语中的时态b. 若直接引语中的内容是客观真理，直接引语变成间接引语时则无需变化。4.在指示代词、时间状语、地点状语及个别动词方面,都有一个变化规律： 这变那，来变去, 过去变以前; 现在变那时，今天变那天, 明天变为第二天。 4）PracticeSaleem is now dead, and a reporter is gathering quotations about him.
