1、人教PEP六年级上册英语Unit 6 The story of rain第四课时 张文娟1、 教学目标1.能够听、说、读、写单词:seed, soil, sprout, plant。2.能够掌握句型“First ,we have the seed.”等简单描述植物种植的过程。二、教学重点 1.熟练掌握本单元的重点单词:seed, soil, sprout, plant。2.能够叙述种花的过程。三、教学准备 1、准备单词卡片、单词图片。2、准备花盆、种子、水、一盆花。3、准备多媒体课件。四、教学过程Step1 热身(warmup)1、 口语联系:对学生就近期所学的内容进行问答

2、练习,用竞赛形式,看看哪组反应快,最先举手回答问题并回答正确的同学为小组加分,分数多的为胜。T: Boys and girls ,look, Whats the weather like today?Ss: Its sunny.T: What day is it today?Ss: Its Wednesday.T: Can you spell Wednesday?Ss: W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y.T: Boys and girls . Its time for competition .Are you ready?Ss: Yes, I am.T: OK! Red group, yel

I have six questionsHow do you go to school?What does your hobby?Where does the rain come from?Where does the cloud come from?Where does the vapour come from?How can the water become vapour?(设计意图:复习旧知识,并调动学生以最快的速度进入课堂教学的状态)2、 播放本单元“Lets chant” ,第一遍听,第二、三遍师生共唱。(1) Ju

4、st listen.(2) Listen and chant together.(设计意图:通过歌谣的引入,调动学生的学习兴趣、吸引学生的注意力,向本课时进入主题做准备。)Step2 新课呈现及操练(Presentation&Practice)1、 Learn some new words:(1) 教师出示事物及图片,一盆鲜花及图片。T:What can you see in the picture?S:I can see some flowers.T:Do you like flowers?S:Yes,I do.T:How do you plant flowers? what do

5、you need?S:种子T:教师拿出一粒花种,Can you guess? What's this?S:It's a seed.教师出示种子图片,带读seed。教师板书单词,学生拼读。(2) 教师拿出一盆装满土壤的花盆,教师指着花盆里的土壤说:It's soil.教师出示soil的图片,带读后板书单词,学生拼读。T:Look at this. It's soil. Can you guess? Whats meaning?S: 土壤.T:Read after me,soil.Spell it.S:S-O-I-L.T:Please read one by one

6、.(3) 教师把种子放进土壤里,说:Now I put the seed in the soil.And then we have the sprout.教师出示sprout的图片,带读后板书单词,学生跟读。T: Now I put the seed in the soil. And then we have the sprout. And can you guess? whats this?S: It's a sprout.T: sprout. Boys/girls read together. Please read one by one.(4) 最后拿出plant 的单词卡片和图

7、片说:Now we have the plant.(教授sprout,soil这两个单词时采用男女生读、分小组读、单独读等多种形式的读,来突破发音难点。)(5) 整体认读T:Seed.Ss:Seed.S-E-E-D,seed.T:Seed.seed,Ican see a seed.T:Now read together.T:We can say a seed/sprout/plant,but we cant say a soil ,because its anuncountable noun.(6) 一起唱:将单词编入两只老虎的歌曲中。What can you see? Learn to how to plant a flower?(1) 张鹏想要种花,但他不知道如何去做,让我们去帮助他,同时把“Number and say”部分呈现给学生,解读句子,并板书和教授一些新词add,put,pot,wait for, grow.T:ZhangPeng wants to plant a flower.But he doesnt know how to do that?now Lets help him.

9、T:First ,look at these sentences together.and read after me.Then number them.(2)教师拿出种子、花盆、水,一边演示种花的过程,一边和学生共同描述此过程,并板书一些关first, plant.in.,then, put.in.,next, add, wait for, grow. 要求学生以小组合作的方式一边演示种花的过程,并一边描述,教师给予适当的指导。要求同学上台一边表演,一边描述. T: Now lets plant flower together.Do and describe together.Teacher

10、 describes it and students do.Teacher does it and students describe.Ask students to do and describe.(设计意图:用实物演示是用来激发学生学习兴趣,给出关键词是为了降低叙述的难度。)(3) 教师把种花的过程图呈现给学生,让学生先认真看图,然后教师让学生再一次描述种花的步骤。Step3 巩固和延伸(Consolidation and extension)要求学生根据听力内容,填出所给短文中所缺的一些单词。 Do you know how to plant a peach tree?
