3、ieshan National Forest Park. The Dabieshan National Forest Park lies in mountain areas in the north part of Huanggang city . It is a newly exploitable scenery tourist zone and almost 85% area covered by forest. It is well known for various species, rare plants and animals, oriental drugs, and delici

4、ous fruits. It is also famous for the beautiful scenery and different culture. The whole park consists of the Heaven Valley, Bodao Mountain, Jiuzi River, and Heaven Lake Garden and so on. Now I will visit these scenic spots of Dabieshan. The Heaven Valley is the main mountain of Dabieshan in Hubei P

5、rovince and Anhui Province and it is at the boundary of: Luotian, Yingshan and Jinzai. The main mountain is as high as 1729ms, and named as “the No.1 Mountain in the Central Plain”. It is 10 kms long and about 5 km wide, so the total area of about 50 km The Heaven valley is famous for its steep moun

6、tains, peaceful valley and clean water. Along the valley, the Taoist Rock, the Ape-crying Chine (山脊), the Bamboo Shoots of Double Stone, and the Nine Circles etc. are all scare sceneries. The rock pines are as pretty as natural bonsais(盆景). The Huang hibiscus, the peony, the orchid are all oriental

7、plants. The wild animals such as the musk cat, the hedgehog and the python, which only eats the wisteria, are so rare. There are also many scare drugs here. So, it has been called as the “green ecological garden of the east of HuBei Province” for a long time. For its dangerous landform, the Heaven V

8、alley was always the military key site in history. Even today some remains of war can be found here, such as the remain of the rebelling against Yuan dynasty led by Cheng Lan in Song dynasty, the old site of Holy Hall built by Xu Shouhui at Dabieshan National Forest Park Bodao Mountain lies to the w

9、est of Heaven Valley, and they face each other directly. At first it was named as Hebu Mountain; its main Mountain Daguping is as high as 1404.2 ms. Its so high and steep that it looks like a piece of tenuous knife from side. For this its named as Bodao Mountain, where mountains are dangerous, rocks

10、 are steep, chine are odd and waterfalls are gainly. Clean fount flow out of rocks, pines stand in all poses and rocks sleep in their own style. It is said that a branch of Manatian(蛮田氏) family in Bashui once lived here during South Wei dynasty and North Jin dynasty. The Hebu Village(鹤埠) was built i

11、n South Song dynasty; Today the three words, “Hebuzai”, can still be seen on the top of the gate of the village. The main scenery sites are the Sleeping Dragon Butte(卧龙岗), the Xiguo（锡锅顶）Top, the Jing-song Cliff（劲松崖）, the Empress(娘娘) Temple and so on. For the picturesque landscape and the beautiful s

Whats more, rolls of cypresses by the side of the plows turn from deep-green to fire- red with the change of seasons; for this, the scenes around looks so attractive and they

15、 and the Dadi Basin(大地坳); It is an artificial lake, and is about 5 kms long, 0.5 kms wide. Seen from a long distance, the whole lake looks like a huge rectangular minor lies in the Bobao Mountain, the Heaven Valley and Bijia Mountain; it also looks like a sliver ribbon(缎带) flying among the mountains
