4、s usual.本篇文章Bamboo是一篇典型的知识性说明文,但难度不是很高,非常适合精读课文。它首先说明竹是什么,从而消除人们的误解;然后介绍了竹子的种类,形态特点,生长特性;第三部分着重工业、农业、生活三方面介绍了竹子的用途,同时这部分也是文章的重点。要求学生阅读时,对Margin Notes中的问题进行思考。重点在于根据语境和图画猜测词义。Step 2 处理Getting Ready中的第3项1) 鼓励学生想象出“竹”在生活中的利用。2) 给学生限定的时间,要求学生“略读”,找出文中所介绍的用途。3) 请同学把竹的用途进行归类,并阐述理由。4) 迅速订正,简要说明原因。Step 3处理C

The reason was that he overslept and missed the school bus.他又迟到了。原因是他睡过了头,错过了校车。do with sth 表示“处理,对付”相当于deal with sth 但是do with往往与what 连用,而deal with 往往与how

25、家都料到了。He made a long speech, which was unexpected.他做了冗长的演讲,这出乎大家的意料。2) 当非限定性定语从句为否定句时,常用which 引导Tom drinks a lot every day, which his wife doesnt like at all.汤姆每天喝大量的酒,这是他太太很不喜欢的。3)which引导的定语从句一般放在主句后,as引导的定语从句放在主句前后均可。As everybody knows, Chongqing is a very beautiful city.人人都知道重庆是一个美丽的城市。4) 当as 在定语
