1、“ It is/was +被强调部分 + that/who + 句子其他部分 ”是强调句型。除了谓语动词 不能强调外,句子中其它成分都可以用该句型加以强调。一、强调句型的功能:1. 强调主语被强调的主语是人时,可用 it is/was . that/ who .,但如果被强调的部分既包括 人又包括物,只能用 that。It is Wei Fang who has broke n the record 是魏方打破了纪录。2. 强调宾语It was me that she helped yesterday乍天她帮助的人是我。3. 强调宾语补足语It was chairma n of the mee
2、ti ng that we elected him 我们选他是做会议的主席。4. 强调状语英语中的状语种类很多 ,一般都可以用 it is / was . that .来强调。 时间状语It was at the age of 5 that he left his hometown for Taiwan.注意:如果强调由notuntil/till引导的时间状语时,要否定前移。如:It was not until after liberation that he returned to his hometown. 频率状语It is once in a while that he comes t
3、o see me. 地点状语It was in this street that the car accident happened yesterday. 方式状语It was by turns that they took care of their sick mother. 目的状语It was to catch the early bus that he got up early. 原因状语It was because the water had risen that they could not cross the river. 二、强调句的一般疑问句和特殊疑问句1. 强调句的一般疑问
4、句句型是:Is/Was + it + that +句子其它成分。如:Was it in the office that he saw you just now?他刚才见你的地方是在办公室吗?2. 强调句的特殊疑问句的基本句型是:疑问词 + is/was + it + that + 句子其它成分 如:When was it that you first went to the Great Wall? 你究竟什么时候第一次去长城的?即学即练:翻译下列句子1. 是他乍天买了一架照相机。2. 他们经常谈论的是学校和老师。3. 我们把墙漆成的是白色。4. 他经常去的地方是图书馆吗?5. 究竟是谁告诉你这

It was white that we pain ted the wall.4.1s it the library that he often goes to?5. Who was it that told you about it?1. 陈述句的强调句型It is/ was +被强调部分(通常是 主语、宾语或状语)+ that/ who (当强
6、调主语且主语指人)+其他部分。例子 It was yesterday that he met Li Ping.2. 一般疑问句的强调句型同上,只是把is/ was提到it前面。例子 Was it yesterday that he met Li Ping?3. 特殊疑问句的强调句型被强调部分(通常是 疑问代词 或疑问副词)+ is/ was + it + that/ who + 其他部分?例子 When and where was it that you were born?4. notun til句型的强调句A. 句型为:It is/ was not un til + 被强调部分 + tha
7、t +其他部分 普通句: He did n't go to bed un til/ till his wife came back.强调句:It was not until his wife came back that he went to bed.B. 注意:此句型只用until,不用till。但如果不是强调句型,till, until可通用; 因为句型中It is/ was not .已经是否定句了, that后面的从句要用肯定句, 切勿再用否定句了。5. 谓语动词的强调A. It is/ was . that .结构不能强调 谓语,如果需要强调谓语时,用 助动 词 do/ do
8、es 或 didDo sit down.务必请坐。Do be careful whe n you cross the street. 过马路时,务必(千万)要小心 啊!B. 注意:此种强调只用do/ does和did,没有别的形式;过去时用did,后面的谓语动词用原形。编辑本段 强调形式常见到的强调 形式,共有以下七类:1. 用dodoesdid + V 可表强调Some people do believe that nu clear power poses a threat to the world peace.2. adv 或 adj 可表强调:Never only VeryThis is

11、e you buy such expensive jewels ?你怎么敢买这么贵的宝石呢?3. 用 ever, never, very , just 等副词和 badly , highly , really 等带有一l y的副词来进行强调:I really don ' t know what to do next我的确不知道下一步该怎么做。4. 用in the world , on earth , at all等介词短语 可以表达更强的语气(常用于疑问句):Where in the world could he be ?他到底会在哪儿?5. 用感叹句来表示强烈的 感情,突出说话人的情
12、感:How in terest ing a story it is !这是一个多么有趣的故事啊!6 .用重复来表示强调:Why ! why ! The cage is empty !啊!啊!箱子是空的。7. 用倒装句(也就是将要强调的句子或被强调的部分置于句首)来加 强语气:On the table were some flowers .桌上摆着一些花。(强调地点)8 .用强调句型:“ It is (was) +被强调的部分+that (who) +原句其它部分”来强调说话人的意愿:It was on Monday ni ght that all this happe ned.所有这一切发生在
13、周一晚上。9 .用If来表示强调:1)If 从句 +I don ' t know who/what, etc. does/is/has, etc.主语 部分也可以用 no body does/is/has , etc .或 everybody does/is/has , et c.来代替(这里的if从句往往是正话反说,反话正说):If he can ' t do itI don ' t know who can要是他做不了这件事,我不知 道还有谁能做。(强调只有他能做)If Jim is a coward , everybody is .要是吉姆是个胆小鬼,那么人人都是
14、胆小鬼。(强调吉姆不是胆小鬼)2) if从句+it be主句(此用法可看成是第 8中强调句型的变形,即把所 要强调的内容放在it be的后面,把其它内容放在由if引导的从句中):If anyone knew the truth , it was Tom .如果说谁了解事实的真相,那便 是汤姆。10.用破折号、黑体字也可以表示强调,加强语气:It ' s because of hard work teyears of hard work .那是因为艰苦的工作 - -十年艰苦的工作!He began the work in late May .他在五月底开始的这项工作。(强调时 间)编辑本

24、李蕾的兄弟。本句若将 It is 及 that 同时省去为: You met Li Lei ' s brother in the street yesterday.句子同样成立,因此前面的句子是强调句型。(2) It is excit ing that we have succeeded in sending up Shen zhou V.我们成功地发射了神舟五号这件事情真令人兴奋。本句若将 It is 及 that 同时省去为: We have succeeded exciting in sending up Shenzhou V.显然句子错误,因此,前面句子不是强调句型,而是 主语
25、从句。与定语从句的比较强调句中的It没有实际意义,It be与that可同时被省略;而定语从句 中的It是主语,It be与that不可同时省略;强调句型中be的时态须跟后面句子的时态相一致;而定语从句中主句 谓语动词be的时态须由主句的时间确定强调句将句子中的that不能省略,并且即使前面的名词是事物时,也 不能将that换成which ;而定语从句中的that作宾语时可被省略,并且当 先 行词是事物时可用which代替。当it be后面的时间、地点名词作主语、宾语或表语时,引导词可用that / which ;而作其他成分时,引导词须用when / which。如:(1) It is an
26、 English book (that / which) I bought yesterday. 它是我昨天买 的书。(本句是对 What is that?问句的回答,that所引导的是定语从句,that 可被省略)It was the En glish book that I bought yesterday. 昨天我所卖的就是这本书。 (本句相当于对 I bought the English book yesterday 中 an English book 进行强 调)(2) It was a room where we used to have meeti ngs.它是我们过去常在开会的房子。(where所
