This means they must be followed by and object. The object may be any of the following: noun, pronoun, the + adj

48、ective, - ed participle, infinitive phrase, - ing form and noun phrase. (see the examples on page20) Sometimes, a transitive verb may be followed by both a direct and indirect object. Remember the verbs which are always transitive provided on page 21. (2) intransitive verbs: Intransitive verbs are v
