After students finish writing, ask five of them to read out their answers. Remind them to answer in complete sentences. Sample answers: 1. Linda was buying a newspape
5、r at the station. 2. Linda couldn t see Davy because the station was crowded. 3. Davy was outside the station. 4. Davy met another dog at the station. 5. Look at the pictures in 4a. Try to answer the following questions: Where did the story happen. When did it happen. Wh
10、at happened to the bicycle. Why did the girl cry. And what did she do. T: Create a story according to the possible answers. Add some detailed information by using the structures youve learned in this unit. For example, the past progressive tense, adverbial clauses with “ when” and “ while ” . Let su
11、ppose the story happened last weekend. Now, begin your writing. Sample writing: It was a sunny weekend. At 11 oclock, Lanlan rode her bicycle to the park near her home. When she got to the lake, some boys and girls were swimming in the lake. Lanlan got off her bicycle; she stood near the lake and wa
12、tched them. While she was watching, a man took her bicycle away. About 10 minutes later, Lanlan turned back and couldn find her bicycle. She looked around and still couldnt find it. She began to cry. Then she called the police for help. Later, the police came and helped her look for her bicycle. Fin
