3、hlighterTeaching procedures:Step 1 Lead-in1.Ask the students the following questions : 1) Do you know that the USA voted for a new president last year? Who is he?2) Do you know recently, a 6-year-old boy in Yangzhou went missing? The police looked for him everywhere but his own mother tuned out to b

4、e the murderer.3) Everyday there is something, big or small, going on around us or around the world. Where can you get the news?(设计意图:选取世界热点话题和身边的新闻,导入主题报刊阅读,开门见山。)Step 2 Structures of a newspaperAsk the students to take out 21st Century Teens Juniors and have an answer race. 1.Can you tell me how m

Look at the picture on the front page of the newspaper

9、. What can you see on the picture?3. At the first sight of the picture, what do you think the film is about?4.What is the light between them ?Can you guess?
