Explain the main structures.A famous Friend?一个著名的朋友?当主语是表示人的名词时,be famous for表示“以某种知识、技能、作品或特征而出名”,而be famous as则表示“以某种身份而出名”。He is famous for his great inventions. 因为他的伟大发明,他出名了。 He is famous as a great inventor. 他是出了名的伟大的发明家。当主语是表示地点的名词时,be famous for表示“以某种特点(产品)而出名”,be famous as表示“以什么样的产地/
8、地方而出名”。France is famous for his fine food and wine. 法国的美食和酒是出了名的。 The town is famous as a wine-producing place. 这个镇是一个出名的产酒镇。注意:be famous for后面的宾语,是主语所属的内容;be famous as后面的宾语,与主语是同位关系。Im much taller this year.今年我高多了。在比较级前可用much, many , a lot , far (得多); any( 稍微); a little , a bit (一点)still, even (更)修
9、饰。e.g.: She is a little taller than he.Are you feeling any better today?比较级前的程度状语还可用具体的数量词。如:four times “四倍”, three years 三年。e.g.: Your school is three times bigger than ours. 你们的学校比我们的学校大三倍。Mary is four years older than Li Ming. 玛丽比李明大四岁。She works for the newspaper and gives advice to people. 她在报社上
10、班,并给人们提供一些建议。work for表示“为工作;为效力”。例如:Mr. Green works for that basketball club.格林先生在那家篮球俱乐部工作。But no matter what, I will always be your friend!但无论如何,我都是你的朋友!no matter what表示“无论如何”,相当于whatever,(no matter +疑问词=疑问词+ever)引导让步状语从句。类似引导词还有:no matter when/whenever, no matter where/wherever。例如:No matter what
11、the world will be, we are always friends. 无论世界怎样变化,我们永远是朋友。5. Play the audiotape for Lesson 30 again, let the students finish the Part One of “Lets Do It!”.6. Ask the students to read the text and answer the questions of the Part Two of “Lets Do It!”. And then check their answers.7. Give the student
12、 enough time to end the Part Three of “Lets Do It!”. Correct their answers.Step PracticeThe Part Four of “Lets Do It!”1. Instruct the students to work in groups to complete the table in the student book.2.
