This is because virtually all of the countrys key industries mining ,textiles, paper, iron and steel, chemicals, petrochemicals and building materials consume large amounts of energy and create a great deal of pollution. Therefore, the Chinese economy remains dominated by resource-hungry an

4、d inefficient polluters. As a result, one-quarter of the Chinese people drink substandard water, while one-third of countrys urbanites breathe seriously polluted air. Moreover, the country has recently witnessed a spate of environmental accidents .China currently suffers from one water pollution acc

5、ident every other day. The resulting damage to public health is a major cause for concern.Truly, in just 30 years, China has made economic advances that took Western countries a century to accomplish. But it is equally true that the environmental problems suffered by Western countries over those 100

6、 years have visited upon China within just three decades. The content of the survey This survey is mainly about some kinds of environmental problems in China and the serve current situation of the universally polluted environment. Whats more, we also focus on the environmental awareness of our Chine

The questions in the questionnaire can be divided into two parts: The first part is mainly about some knowledge of the

And at the same time our young generations lack of the knowledge about the environment is

13、really worrying.Some suggestionsFirst, for individuals, the environmental protection is everyones responsibility. As far as I am concerned, it is really important for our college students to strengthen the awareness of environmental protection. Maybe we can not change the serve situations in a minut

14、e, but we can do little things to contribute ones effort to the career of environmental protection, for example, we can minimize the use of one-time items, drive low-emission cars and use the phosphate-free laundry detergent power when doing some washing. I really believe that the collective strengt

15、h is imponderable.Here Id like to give some suggestions to protect environment.Thirdly, for the medium, they can report the positive and negative examples about the pollution as much as possible. Also, TV and radio can broadcast some public service advertisements to improve the citizens awareness of

16、 environmental protection.At last, for the government, they should punish the individual and factory that pollute the environment harshly and reward those who contribute to the environmental protection. Also, the government can open a tip-off hotline and they should also encourage citizens to say mo

Whats more, government should improve the system of public transportation in order to reduce the use of private cars.Our feeling after doing the project Although the law of the environmental protection has been put on the agenda, the actions, which are damaging the efforts of environmental prote

18、ction in order to gain personal benefits, are still existing in our society. The cars still running in the street and there are more and more private cars appearing in the cities. And the chimneys of the factories still keep discharging waste gas into the air making the fresh air dirty and harmful. It seems that the law of the environmental protection has no effect at all. We still do something, which can pollute the environment without realizing them, although we want to contribute our effort to environmental protection.
