1、 8/8大学英语4课程教学大纲 大学英语4课程教学大纲 一、基本信息 课程编号:08A09040 课程名称:大学英语4 英文名称:College English IV 课程类型: 通识必修课通识核心课通识选修课学科基础课 专业基础课专业必修课专业选修课实践环节 总学时:48 讲课学时:48 实验学时:0 学分:3 适用对象:非英语专业本科二年级学生 课程负责人:高江梅梁爱民 二、课程的性质与作用 大学英语4的教学目的是培养学生具备综合应用英语的能力,培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、写、译能力,使他们能用英语交流信息。大学英语教学应帮助学生打下扎实的语言基础,掌握良好的语言学习方法,提
2、高文化素养,以适应社会发展和经济建设的需要。 三、教学目标 根据因材施教、突出个性发展的教学规律,并参照教育部委托大学英语研究会与课程指导委员会制定的大学英语课程教学要求(以下简称课程要求),我校大学英语课程实行英语教学,使大多数学生能够达到基本要求,并使一部分学生能够达到较高要求和更高要求。 (1)听力理解能力:能够基本听懂来自英语国家人士的谈话和讲座,能听懂题材熟悉、 篇幅较长的国内英语广播。能基本听懂外国专家用英语讲授的课程,掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。 (2)口语表达能力:能够和来自英语国家人士进行比较流利的会话,能基本表达个人意见、情感、观点等,能基本陈述事实、事件、理由,表达思想清楚
3、。 (3)阅读理解能力:能基本阅读英语国家报刊杂志的大众性、一般性题材的文章,理解其主要意义。能略读新闻、人物、事件等报道的主要内容,抓住其要点,能跳读有关材料,快速查找所需信息。能借助词典读懂与专业相关的技术性论文,从中查找所需信息。 (4)书面表达能力:能就所读一般主题的文章写出其 达到能确切运用。 课程目标与相关毕业要求指标点的对应关系 四、教学内容及要求 Unit One 建议学时:8 教学目的与要求 1. 29、it Six 五、实践环节 本课程为通识必修课,教学以课堂讲解为主,无实践环节。目的是是培养学生具备综合应用英语的能力,培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、写、译能力,使他们能用英语交流信息。大学英语教学应帮助学生打下扎实的语言基础,掌握良好的语言学习方法,提高文化素养,以适应社会发展和经济建设的需要。 六、课外习题及课程讨论 为达到本课程的教学基本要求,课外练习题(自测题)总题量不少于10题。每章结束后应布置作业,作业要求规范整洁,教师要认真批阅,共性的错误下堂课订正。学生必须按时交作业,作为学生平时成绩的依据之一,三次不交作业者不允许参加考试。 课程讨论穿插在讲课之中进行。 七、教学方法与手段 本课程为通识必修课。教学以课堂讲解为主要,讨论为辅,着重于培养学生具备综合应用英语的能力,培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、写
