6、plying for a New BossSection CPractical Writing: Revision2Leading In and Exploring the Topic Ask the Ss to finish the listening exercise of Exploring theTopic on P176 of SB. Pair the students up to let them discuss the followingquestions:1) Have you ever hunted for a part-time job?2) How did you pre
7、pare to meet the person in charge?3) Who did you meet first? How did you feel then?4) What questions were you asked?5) What advice can you give to your classmates?Section A Reading Through Prepare a PPT with all the text and its translation on it andshow it to the class. Ask the students to read and
8、 translate the text in turn sentenceby sentence. Give help when necessary. Divide the class into groups of four. Ask each group to do arole-play of an interview. Three of the group members will actas the interviewers and ask the three essential questions listedin the text and the last one will be th
9、e interviewees and ask thethree questions. Ask one or two groups to do the role-play in front of the class.Ask some students to give comment by telling the class whathe has learned from the role-play and his suggestions toimprove the role-play. Prepare a PPT with paragraphs of the exercise on P185 o
10、f SB. Ask some students to tell their answers to the class andexplain why. Review some rules of reducing wordiness learned in formerunits. Prepare a PPT with Text B in which all the new words aremissing and the translations below each paragraph. Ask the Ssto fill in the blanks with all the new words
