3、Thefirsttwowerethefoursignaturespublishedinthe1887NewYearsEveAnnualPublicationpublishedbytheBloodWordStudyandthe1890edition.Andin1891beganintheStrandmagazineseriesofshortstoriesserial,sothatthepopularityofSherlockHolmesexplosiverise.Butuntil1927,Mr.ConanDoylewrotethesequelagain.Thestorydatesareabout

4、1875-1907.Andhislastcaseoccurredin1914.AlmostallofthestoriesaredescribedbyJohnH.Watson,afriendandbiographerofSherlockHolmes.OnlytwolionfeathersandskinalbinosoldiersaredescribedbySherlockHolmes,twoofwhicharewrittenbythethirdperson.Earlyexperience1854born:January6,Holmeswasborn,grandfatherforthegenera
