1、教学课题阅读课/谈论未来打算姓名学校联系方式周启宜宾市第二中学导思想与理论分析义务教育英语课程标准(2023版)实施建议指出,学习英语能帮助学生形成开放、包容的性格,发展跨文化交流的意识与能力,促进思维发展,形成正确的人生观、价值观和良好的人文素养。王蔷教授提出,英语学科的首要任务是育人,教师需要思考学科价值是什么,如何通过教授这门学科实现育人的目标(王蔷,2023)。 普通高中英语课程标准(2023年版)倡导实践英语学习活动观,教师应设计具有综合性、关联性和实践性特点的英语学习活动,使学生在主题意义的引领下,通过学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新等一系列融语言、文化、思维

2、为一体的活动,获取、阐释和评判语篇意义,表达个人观点、意图和情感态度,发展多元思维和批判性思维,提高英语学习能力和运用能力(教育部,2023)。王蔷教授强调,教育要回归原点,关注人的发展;教学要走向服务学生学科核心素养的发展,从意义出发,推动深度学习;研读文本、重视情境、梳理主线、构建结构化知识、关注内化提升、迁移创新,是实现培养学生学科核心素养的重要条件(王蔷,2023)。教学内容分析本节课围绕“未来的世界”这一话题,呈现了“运用一般将来时谈论对未来的预测”的语言功能,呈现了一般将来时的肯定句,否定句,一般疑问句和特殊疑问句,还有there be 结构在一般将来时中的用法。并让学生能在“想中

3、学”(learningbythinking),通过有限的课堂实践活动,能准确地用英语来表达对未来世界的畅想。通过对现实生活与未来生活的对比,唤醒学生把握现在,珍惜现在,为将来努力学习。(一)What 第一篇Reading文章主要讲述公交车的发展历程,以及未来智能化、人性化的公交车给人类带来了极大的便利。第二篇文章主要介绍了机器人的影视作品形象、现状、是否可能具备思考能力、未来发展。两篇文章都是科幻型阅读,旨在唤起学生的想象力,培养学生对未来生活的预测。第三篇则延伸到个人的发展,表明了人类对美好生活的追求和幻想,从而对未来生活进行更细致的预测,并以短文填空的形式来巩固学生对一般将来时态的运用。(

4、二)How 第一篇阅读文章是说明和议论相结合的文章,第一段提出公交车的弊端,第二段介绍了“super bus”虽然不占路面空间,但是速度慢和安全性不高的事实。第三段展示了未来公交车绿色、环保、速度快等特征。第二篇文章也是说明和议论相结合的文章,结构清晰,信息丰富,第一段阐述机器人的影视作品形象,第二段阐述当前工厂里的机器人有何功能,第三段介绍人形机器人的发展情况,第四段探讨未来机器人发展的方向。两篇文章的作者都多次用到“will do”谈论未来事件,表达对未来事件的不同预测和观点。第三篇文章通过对20年后的工作、家庭、业余活动和居住环境的描述,引导学生对自己未来生活的展望。(二)Why 第一篇

5、阅读文章作者通过对公交车全方位的介绍,向读者展示了未来公交车的魅力。第二篇文章作者通过对机器人多维度的描述,向读者全面介绍了机器人这一概念。两篇文章均能引导读者认真思考未来生活发展的方向,鼓励读者发挥想象。第三篇文章作者通过对未来生活的设想,从而引导读者树立更为科学的理想观和价值观。学生情况分析1. 知识储备:约20%的同学喜欢英语课外阅读,涉猎范围较广,大部分同学课内知识掌握较好,在老师的引导下能进行深入思考。约10%的同学基础较弱,需要老师或同学帮助理解所学内容。2. 心理特点:大部分同学英语学习热情较高,乐于在小组内分享自己的观点。但在全班面前表达自己时,有时还需要老师的鼓励。3. 话题

6、知识:大部分同学都对机器人有所了解,在影视作品中见过机器人,部分同学在个人生活中接触过机器人(比如扫地机器人)。但大部分同学对机器人的存在可能带来的问题和当前人工智能时代的机器人未来如何发展这两个层面的了解不够深入,甚至未有所思考。教学目标知识目标:掌握并应用“will + v. (动词原形)”谈论对未来的预测能力目标:1.依据文章题目和所给图片,预测文章内容。通过略读(skimming)的方式,猜测文章大意。2.借助关键词,通过寻读 (scanning)的方式,判断每一段段落大意,加深对篇章结构的把握。3.在学习中学会合作、交流。情感目标:通过讨论机器人的现在和未来,激发、培养学生们对未来的

11、t SetsPassage 1Do You Think You Will Have Your Own Robot?When we watch movies about the future, we sometimes see robots. They are usually like human servants. They help with the housework and do jobs like working in dirty or dangerous places.Today there are already robots working in factories. They

12、can help to build cars, and they do simple jobs over and over again. Fewer people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring, but robots will never get bored.Scientists are now trying to make robots look like humans and do the same things as we do. Some robots in Japan can walk and danc

13、e. They are fun to watch. However, some scientists believe that although we can make robots move like people, it will be difficult to make them really think like a human. For example, scientist James White thinks that robots will never be able to wake up and know where they are. But many scientists

14、disagree with Mr. White. They think that robots will even be able to talk like humans in 25 to 50 years. Some scientists believe that there will be more robots in the future. However, they agree it may take hundreds of years. These new robots will have many different shapes. Some will look like huma

15、ns, and others might look like animals. In India, fore example, scientists made robots that look like snakes. If buildings fall down with people inside, these snake robots can help look for people under the buildings. This was not possible 20 years ago, but computers and rockets also seemed impossib

16、le 100 years ago. We never know what will happen in the future!Passage 2Meet the bus of the futureWhen we talk about the bus, we may say: It takes much time for people to wait for the bus. It is not comfortable. It is very crowded. Sometimes it is even not able to be on time.Scientists are now tryin

17、g to make the super bus. The super bus is 40 meters long and 60 meters wide. It has two floors. A super bus can hold 1200 to 1400 people. When the super bus runs on the road, the other cars can run through from its low floor. However, some scientists believe that although the super bus hardly takes

18、any room of the roads, it will be slow and dangerous.Some scientists believe that there will be more creative bus in the future. However, they agree it may take 20 or 30 years. These new buses will run on solar power, which will be much cleaner, greener, and faster. They will be much safer, too. For
