By using an air horn and signally the international distress (SOS) three short blasts, a pause, followed by three long blasts). The person detecting the fire must alert personnel in the immediate area of the

52、 fire and those personnel can either attempt to use the portable fire extinguishers and hoses to fight the fire or immediately evacuate the area. Once the Project HSE personnel arrive on the scene they will determine whether the local fire department or mutual agreement partners need to be summoned.
