Roy’sStory读后续写教师----刘叶伟四川省隆昌市第二中学【教材分析】一、教材课题：外研版高中英语第六册第三模块(Module3InterpersonalRelationship-Friendship)第二课时阅读课(Roy’sStory)，笔者在阅读原文的基础上稍作了修改，将本文设计为了读写结合课：即，将文章末尾的最后一句话Atthatmoment,thedoorswungopen,andRoywalkedin，改为了读后续写第一段的首句。二、教材内容分析：外研版高中英语选修六有七个模块，每个模块都围绕一个话题开展听、说、读、写活动。本模块的话题是“友谊”。朋友在每个学生的人生中起着重要作用，每个学生都会有一些关于友谊的美好回忆和对好朋友的理解和认识，友谊贴近学生生活，能够引起学生的学习兴趣，令他们在快乐中获得知识。本课时主要是在阅读的基础上进行预测续写、以读促写。这一部分提供了本模块的主要阅读语篇，呈现了本模块的大部分的词汇和主要语法结构，是本单元学习的重点。文章介绍了我（Daniel）因父亲来伦敦工作而进入了一个新学校，和罗伊(Roy)成为好友，五年后活泼乐观的罗伊因父亲死于车祸而发生了彻底的改变，我们友谊变淡，后来罗伊开始偷东西，在这过程中我不断努力帮助他。然后，让学生在阅读的基础上合理预测下文，并进行读后续写。引导学生如何正确交友，学会珍惜友谊。三、教学目标：【语言能力】学会用英语常见句型陈述和表达自我观点；学会根据已知材料续写故事。【文化品格】本节课对我（Daniel）和罗伊(Roy)如何成为好友，这种友谊如何变淡但我依然尽力帮助罗伊进行了描述,进一步增强学生对友谊的理解和珍惜；使学生能够对友谊有一种正确的认识。在师生互动的活动中加强教师的亲和力，增进彼此的了解与沟通，充分发挥情感教学的优势。加强团结协作意识，共同提升写作能力。【思维品质】通过合理预测下文，培养学生的发散思维能力、逻辑推理能力和创新能力和写作能力。四、教学重点：本课时是本模块的的主要阅读语篇，篇幅最长，且呈现了本模块的大部分的描述动作、心理和表情的词汇是本单元学习的重点。在阅读中如何迅速提取信息，体会文中人物角色的心理发展变化过程。合理预测，读后续写，敢于表达。五、教学难点：对文章中的表现人物特征的描述性语言，如动作描写、心理描写、对话以及面部表情描写，以及重点句型的综合理解和运用。如何调动学生积极性，表达自我想法。如何合理预测下文，让上下文高度衔接，更符合逻辑。如何发挥团队的协同作用，让学生在小组成员的帮助下完成读后续写任务。
