CourseDescription：Thiscourseexaminesamultitudeoftopicsandissuesinappliedlinguistics.Thecoursewillfocusonresearchandtheoryinappliedlinguisticsandclassroomapplicationsofthistheoryandresearch.Studentsinthiscoursewillbecomefamiliarwiththetheoreticalbackgroundofappliedlinguistics,becomefamiliarwiththeexistingresearchonavarietyofsub-areaswithinthefieldofappliedlinguistics,andactivelyengageindiscussionsandapplicationsofthisworkasitappliestoandinformsinstructionalandevaluationstrategiesforstudents.GradingPolicyYourfinalgradewillbedeterminedasfollows:Classattendanceandparticipation,
