基本规则

竞赛的日期时间：2012年美国大学生数学建模竞赛将于2012年2月9号（周四）晚上8:01分（美国东部时间）开始，于2012年2月13号（周一）晚上8:00（美国东部时间）结束，比赛的地点为当地的院校。

Eachteamisrequiredtosubmitanelectroniccopyofitssolutionpaperbyemailtosolutions@.Theadvisororanyteammembermaysubmitthisemail.

每个队都必须通过email将论文电子副本提交到solutions@。此任务可由负责老师或组员完成。

YouremailMUSTbereceivedatCOMAPbythesubmissiondeadlineof8:00PMESTonFebruary13,2012.Facultyadvisorsmustensurethatnofurthermodifications,enhancements,additions,orimprovementsmaybemadetotheteam’ssolutionpaperafterthisemailsubmission.COMAPmustthenreceiveyourPrintedSolutionPacketviamailonorbeforeWednesday,February22,2012.

论文邮件必须在截止日期（2012年2月13日美国东部时间晚8:00）前提交于官方指定邮箱.学校负责老师必须确保电子论文提交后不会再变更、美化、添加或进行其他修改。此外，参赛队伍必须保证组委会能够最晚于美国时间2012年2月22日（周三）收到各队邮寄的纸质版论文的包裹。

竞赛资料：竞赛网站有各类指导，要求，评判标准，及提交论文的方法步骤（包括详细指导）。其他的资料都不具有官方性质。

竞赛题目将于2月9日（周四）美国东部时间晚上8:00发布于官方网站。

TheAdvisors:Advisorsinformstudentsaboutthiscompetitionandencouragetheformulationofteams.Advisorsmayguideandrehearsetheteampriortothebeginningofthecompetition.

负责老师：负责老师可以给学生宣传有关本次比赛的事宜，鼓励学生组队，同时负责老师可在竞赛开始前对队员进行指导和排练。

Duringthecompetition,thestudentsareexpectedtodevelopallofthesubstantiveanalysiswithoutthehelpofothers.

A$100registrationfeemustbepaidatregistrationonlineinordertoparticipate.

竞赛中，学生应该独立完成论文，不能和本队以外的人进行探讨。团队注册：各组必须在2012年2月9日下午15:00（北京时间）之前在网上登记注册。注册时候，每个参赛队伍需支付100美元报名费。TheMCMandICMcontestsnowallowunlimitedteamsperinstitution,withunlimitedteamsperdepartment.Eachteamconsistsofuptothreehighschoolorundergraduatestudentswhoareenrolledinschoolatthetimeofthecontest.

现在，MCM和ICM对每个学校的参数队伍不做限制，每个院系也不限组数。但是每个队伍最多由3名在校高中生或在校大学生组成。

Teammembersdonotneedtobenamedatthetimeofregistration,buttheymustbedeterminedbeforethecontestproblemsareread.

登记时不需要提交组员名字，但提交竞赛论文的时候需写清名字。

竞赛题：每队可以选择以下问题三者之一：

MCM题A（连续型）或

MCM题B(离散型)
