throughresearchmethodssuchasdocumentanalysis,in-depthinterview,expertconsultationandquestionnairesurvey,theresearchexploresandconstructstheapplicationevaluationsystemforundergraduateliberalartsmajors.Amongthem,eachin-depthinterviewinvolvesfortypeople,andeachexpertconsultationinvolvesfivepeople.Inordertoobtainmoresolidbasis,weissue300questionnairesregardinghowtoevaluatetheapplicationofliberalartsmajors.Therespondentsinvolvethreegroups,includingliberalartsgraduateswhohavegraduatedformorethanthreeyears,liberalartsteachersandmiddle-and-highmanagementstaffincollegesanduniversitiesandmiddle-and-highmanagementstaffandbusinessbackbonesingovernmentalagencies,enterprises,institutionsandotheremployingunits.Theresearchbelievesthattheapplicationofundergraduateliberalartsmajorscanbeevaluatedfromsixfirstlevellatitudes〔namely,employmentdifficulty,employmentstructure,employmentquality,adaptationsituation,developmentprospectandtransfercapability〕，whichincludetwentysecondlevellatitudessuchasthetimewhenthefirstemploymentopportunityisobtained,thedegreeofcorrelationbetweenthejobandthemajor,thecompensationandthewelfare.Accordingtotheapplicationevaluationsystemforundergraduateliberalartsmajors,wemakeapreliminaryquestionnaireabouttheapplicationstatusofundergraduateliberalartsmajorsandmakeatrialtestonand汪reliabilityandvalidityanalysisof150samples.Onthatbasis,thecurrentapplicationstatusofundergraduateliberalartsmajorsistestedthrough800questionnaires.Onthebasisofoutcomeevaluationandexternalevaluationprinciples,theresearchchoosesliberalartsgraduateswhohaveworkedfor2-6yearsasrespondents,andtherespondentsincludealltypesofsocialoiganizationswhichcanofferemploymentopportunitiestoliberalartsgraduatesasfaraspossible.Accordingtothesurvey,theapplicationdegreeofundergraduateliberalartsmajorsissmallerthanthatofscienceandengineering;theapplicationdegreeofliberalartsmajorsof211projectuniversitiesishigherrelativetothatof985projectuniversitiesandgeneralundergraduatecollegesandissignificantlyhigherthanthatofgeneralundergraduatecolleges;anditdiffersamongeightdifferentdisciplineswithinliberalarts,inwhichhistory,lawandphilosophyhavealowerapplicationdegree.Accordingtotheresearch,thereasonliesinthefactthatintermsoftheapplicationofundergraduateliberalartsmajors,thecollegesanduniversitieshavemanyproblems.Forinstance,itisnecessarytoimprovethedisciplinesystem,optimizethetrainingprocessandteachingcontents,promoteteacherresourcesandintensifytheevaluatingfunction.Meanwhile,withregardtotheinternaladministrationmechanism,therearenotyetthemechanism,modelandsystemwhichareinfavorofthemutualparticipationintalenttrainingbyotherinterestedparties.Inaddition,theinterestedpartieshaventplayedtheirdueroleintalenttraining,whichisanotherimportantreasonresultingintheweakapplicationofliberalartsmajors.Theapplicationofliberalartsmajorsisrestrictedbyvariousfactorsandtherefor
