logging.Allofasudden,manyelephantsinThailandnolongerhadaway
tomakealiving.
Someelephantsweretreatedbadly.Othershadtotrytoliveontheir
ownandcouldn'tfindenoughfoodtoeat.Therewereoncetensof
thousandsofelephantsinThailand.Today,therearelessthanfive
thousand.WhentwoRussianAmericanartists,VitalyKomarandAlex
Melamid,firstheardaboutthetroubledelephantsinThailand,theyknew
thatsomethinghadtobedonetoforeverchangethewaypeopletreated
Thaielephants.Then,theycameupwithanideatohelptheseelephants.
KomarandMelamidvisitedelephantcampsinThailandandbegan
toshowtheelephanttrainershowtoteachtheelephantstopaint.Atfirst,
