1Cultureshockisthepersonaldisorientationapersonmayfeelwhenexperiencinganunfamiliarwayoflifeduetoimmigrationoravisittoanewcountry,ortoamovebetweensocialenvironments.Thefeelingofcultureshockgenerallysetsinafterthefirstfewweeksofcomingtoanewplace.Oneofthemostcommoncausesofcultureshockinvolvesindividualsinaforeigncountry.Cultureshockcanbedescribedasconsistingofatleastoneoffivedistinctphases:Honeymoon,Negotiation,Adjustment,Masteryandtheinterdependence.Aninabilitytousethelanguage,changesinroutine,changesinrelationshipswithotherculturepeoplecauseculturalshoock.
