1)表示过去的动作或存在的状态。

Hewenthomeandsatdown.be动词过去式的构成:1.在一般过去时中,原来的am,is要改为was,如果主语是第一人称与第三人称以及相当于第三人称单数的名词,谓语动词都用was。2.原来的are都要改为were。1.一般情况:v.+ed;2.以不发音的e结尾的:v.+d;3.末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节词,先双写辅音字母,再+ed;4.结尾是“辅音字母+y”的,先变“y”为“i”再+ed；5.不规则的动词变化见教材。实义动词过去式的变化规则:清后/t/,元浊/d/,/t//d/后面读/id/。即:以清辅音结尾的单词后加ed,读/t/;以元音和浊辅音结尾的单词后加ed,读/d/;以读音/t//d/结尾的单词后加ed,读/id/。词尾-ed的读音:Summary一般过去时口诀

一般过去时并不难，表示过去动作、状态记心间。动词要用过去式，时间状语句末站。否定句很简单，didn’t站在动词原形前，其他部分不要变。一般疑问句也好变，did放在句子前，主语、动词原形、其他部分依次站。特殊疑问句也简单，疑问词加一般疑问句记心间。

最后一条请注意，动词过去式要牢记。
