-Elicitvocabularyrelatedtotechnologyanditsimpactondailyroutines.

Step2:Pre-reading(5minutes)

-Showimagesorclipsofpeopleengagingwithdifferenttechnologiesandaskstudentstopredicthowthesemightaffecttheirhealthandexercisehabits.

-Introducekeyvocabularyforthelessonandreviewthepresentperfecttense.

Step3:While-listening(15minutes)

-Playanaudiorecordingthatfeaturesindividualstalkingabouthowtheirliveshavechangedsinceacquiringanewtechnology,particularlyintermsofhealthandexercise.

-Askstudentstolistenandcompletetheexercisesfromthehandout,focusingonunderstandingthereasonsbehindanychangesmentioned.

-Afterlistening,holdaclassdiscussiontoclarifyanymisunderstandingsanddeepencomprehension.

Step4:Post-listening(15minutes)

-Inpairs,studentspracticediscussingtheirownexperiencesandchangesinhabitssincegettinganewtechnologyusingthepresentperfecttense.

-Walkaroundtheclassroomtoprovideassistanceandencourageaccurateuseofthepresentperfecttense.

Step5:SpeakingPractice(10minutes)

-Distributerole-playscenariocards.Eachcarddescribesasituationwherestudentsneedtodiscusshowacertaintechnologyhasaffectedtheirlifestyle,particularlyregardinghealthandexercise.

-Instructstudentstorole-playaconversationusingthegiveninformationandincorporatingthetargetlanguagestructures.

Step6:WritingTask(10minutes)

-Assignawritingtaskwherestudentscreateashortparagraphdescribingachangeintheirlifestylesinceacquiringaparticulartechnology,explainingtheimpactontheirhealthandexerciseroutines.

-Encouragestudentstousethepresentperfecttenseandexpressionsrelatedtocauseandeffect.

Step7:Homework&Review(5minutes)

-Reviewkeyvocabularyandlanguagestructuresbyplayingagamesuchas"TechnologyImpact,"wherestudentshavetocontinueasentenceabouthowatechnologyhasaffectedtheirlivesusingthepresentperfecttense.
