Step1:Bringoutthepicturesofobjectsthatbeginwiththeletter"Aa"(apple,ant,arrow,airplane,etc.).Showeachpicturetothechildrenandaskthemtoidentifytheobject,andsayitsname.Theteachercanwritethenameoftheobjectonthewhiteboardandaskthechildrentorepeatafterher.

Step2:Playagamewherethechildrencancalloutwordsthatbeginwiththeletter"Aa".Anychildwhocancomeupwithan"Aa"wordcorrectly,getsasticker.

Step3:Introducethehandwrittenletter"Aa,"andaskthechildrentocopytheletterintheirworkbooks.Theteachercanprovideextramotivationbygivingastickertoeachchildwhocompletesthetaskcorrectly.
