Toevaluatethepracticalityofthenewmethod,theycarriedoutseveralexperimentsof

differentscales.Resultssuggestedthatthenewmethodoutperformedtraditionalmining

than90%,an80%decreaseinpollutingagentusageanda70%reductioninimpurity.

Thestudyconfirmedthatthisnovelelectrokinetictechnologyenabledgreen,efficientand

selectiverecoveryofREEs.Researchersalsonotedthatthenewmethodhasgreatpotentialforuse

intheminingofothercriticalmetalsunderconditionsinwhichthemetaisexistinionicstates.
