Byaboutnoon,theskiesclearedandWashington’sNationalAirportreopenedforbusiness.ThecrewofAirFloridaFlight90beganpreparingforanonstoptriptosunnyFortLauderdale,Florida.At3:59p.m.,thetwin-engineBoeing737wasclearedfortakeoffandbeganrumblingdowntherunwayonitsfinalflight.4/61AbouttheAirCrashMinuteslater,theplanesmashedintothe14thStreetBridge,only1,200yardsfromthePentagon,destroyingfourautomobilesandkillingfivepeople.Thejetthenfellintotheice-coveredPotomacRiver,bringingallthepassengerstotheirinstant
