SupremeCourtheadsthejudicialbranch.Thelegislativebranchincludes
bothhousesof
Congress-theSenateandtheHouseofReprsentatives.Theconstitution
limitsthepowersofeachbranchandpreventsonebranchfromgaining
toomuchpower.Forexample,CongresscanpassaLawthePresidentmaysign
it.Nevertheless,theSupremeCourtcandeclarethelawunconstitutional
andnullifyit.
AllgovernmentintheUnitedStatesis"ofthepeople,bythepeopleand
forthepeople”.ThepeopleelectthePresidentandthemembersof
Congress.However,thePresidentappointstheheadsoffederal
departmentsandtheSupremeCourtjudges.Everycitizenvotesin
