scientistsracedtothephonesandfaxlinestomakesureeveryoneknew
abouttheirresearchtoo,generatinganewroundofheadlines.
Thetimecertainlyseemedripeforabreakthroughincancer.Only
lastmonthscientistsattheNationalCancerInstituteannouncedthatthey
werehaltingaclinicaltrialofadrugcalledtamoxifen-andoffering
