petroleum.Petroleumisadark,stickyliquidmixtureofcompoundsformed
undergroundbythedecayofancientmarineanimals.
Naturalgasalsocomesfromthedecayofancientorganisms,butitnaturally
takesagaseousform,insteadofaliquidform.Naturalgascommonlyoccurs
inassociationwithcrudeoil.Itisderivedfrombothlandplantsandaquatic

Naturalgasconsistsprimarilyofmethane(沼气)andotherhydrocarbongases.
Hydrocarbonsareorganiccompoundscomposedonlyoftheelementscarbon

Today,ownersofnatural-gasvehiclescanfilluptheircarsatoneof1,300

naturalgaspumptopeoplewhopurchaseitsnatural-gas-poweredCivic.The
pumpusesahome'sexistingnaturalgaslinesandcanbeinstalledfor$500
