Letusgetthoseboxesdownforyou./Letushelpyoutakethoseboxesdown.语法归纳单元主题语法总结单元语言点归纳PART04.课堂语法精讲Relativeclauseswithwho,thatandwhich(由who,that和which引导的限制性定语从句)本部分介绍的是由who,that和which引导的限制性定语从句的结构和用法。在复合句中,修饰某一名词或代词而起定语作用的从句叫定语从句或关系从句。被修饰的名词或代词叫先行词,定语从句一般放在先行词之后。who,that和which这类引导定语从句的词称为关系代词。定语从句常用来指明人或物,或者提供关于它们的更多信息。※who用于指人,在定语从句中作主语、宾语、表语;which用于指物,在定语从句中作主语、宾语。如:ThegirlwhooftenhelpsmewithmyEnglishisfromBritain.那个经常帮我学英语的女孩来自英国。Thebuildingwhichstandsnearthetrainstationisasupermarket.位于火车站附近的建筑物是一家超市。※that可以指人或物,在从句中可作主语、宾语、表语,常用来代替who或which,尤其在非正式文体中。如:IrememberthekindwomanthatImetinLondon.我记得我在伦敦遇到的那个好心的女人。Marylikesmusicthatisquietandgentle.玛丽喜欢安静且轻柔的音乐。注意事项:1.当who,that和which在定语从句中作动词或动词短语的宾语时,常可以省略。如:Whoistheteacher(that)LiMingistalkingto?正在和李明说话的那位老师是谁?Thecoat(that)Iputonthedeskisblue.我放在桌上的外套是蓝色的。Thefilm(which)wesawlastnightwaswonderful.我们昨晚看的那部电影非常棒。2.引导定语从句的关系词分为关系代词和关系副词。关系副词包括when,where,why等。3.定语从句分为限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句。初中阶段要求能辨认出由who,that和which这三个关系代词引导的限制性定语从句,并能理解句子的意思。
4.关系代词通常用that,不用who或which的情况:(1)先行词被序数词或形容词最高级修饰时。如:Hewasthefirstpersonthatpassedtheexam.他是第一个通过考试的人。OneofthemostdeliciousdrinksthatIlikeisorangejuice.我喜欢的最美味的饮料之一是橙汁。(2)先行词为all,every(thing),some(thing),any(thing),no(thing),none,little,few,much,only或被这些词修饰时。如:Isthereanythingthatyouwanttobuyintheshop?商店里有你想要买的东西吗?(3)当先行词同时含有“人”和“物”时。如:Icanstillrememberthepersonsandsomepictures(that)Isawintheroom.我仍能记得我在那个房间所见到的一些人和一些画。(4)先行词被theonly,thevery,thesame,thelast等词语修饰时。如:ThisisthelastplacethatIwanttovisit.这是我想参观的最后一个地方。(5)当主句是以who或which开头的特殊疑问句时。如:Whoisthepersonthatisstandingatthegate?站在门口的那个人是谁?5.关系代词只能用who的情况:(1)当先行词是anyone,one,ones等词时。如:AnyonewhoworksonMathsproblemsmustbecareful.任何研究数学问题的人一定要细心。(2)当先行词是those时。如:Thosewhoagreetothisplanpleaseputuptheirhands.同意这个计划的人请举手。课堂精练I.用适当的关系代词将下列句子连成复合句1.Thisisthebestnovel.Ihaveread.
