4、介词with的用法

shoeswithspecialheels.有特别脚跟的鞋。

with是介词,意为“带有;具有",表示某物具有某种性质/状态。

【括展】:with还有以下用法:

1)with介词“和……一起”

e.g.:Helikestolivewithhisparents.他喜欢和父母住在一起。

注意,当with表示“和……在一起",谓语动词与with前面的主语一致。

e.g.:HewithhisparentsisgoingtovisitMountTainextweek.

下星期他和父母要去游泰山。

2)with指人随身“长着,戴着,带着...;有...的”,表示人的某种特征。

e.g.:MyteacherisanEnglishmanwithgoldenhair.

我的老师是一个有金黄色头发的英国人。

3)with表示“随身带某物"

e.g.:Haveyousomemoneywithyou你(身上)带钱了吗

4)with说明名词,表示事物的附属部分或所具有的性质“具有,带有,加上,包括...在内”。

e.g.:Hedoesn’tliketeawithsugar.他不喜欢加糖的茶水。

5、辨析thenumberof,anumberof

Thenumberofforeignplayers,includingChineseplayers,intheNBAhasincreased.

外国运动员以及中国运动员在NBA的人数增加。

【辨析】:

①thenumberof…的意思是“...的数量",作主语时,谓语动词使用单数形式。

②anumberof的意思是“很多,许多”,作主语时,谓语动词使用复数形式。

6、beusedforsth./doingsth被用来做...

"beusedforsth./doingsth."表示“被用于某物/做事",for是介词,后面跟名词、代词或动名词。

e.g.:--Whatisthehotice-creamscoopusedfor这个热的冰激凌勺是用来做什么的

--It’susedforservingreallycoldice-cream.它是用来供应非常冰的冰淇淋的。

7、辨析intheend,attheendof,bytheendof

【辨析】:

1)intheend表示经过许多变化、困难的情况之后,某事才发生,意为“最后,终于”,相当于atlast,finally,后不接of短语。

e.g.:Withtheteacher’shelp,hepassedtheexamintheend.

在老师的帮助下,他最终通过了考试。

2)attheendof意为“在...尽头/末端"

e.g.:Someofthestudentssatonthebenchesattheendoftheroom.

有几个学生坐在房间尽头的长凳上。

3)bytheendof表示“到……末为止”,后接时间名词,常与一般将来时,完成时连用,后一般接时间名词,如年、月、周等。

e.g.:Wewillbuildthebuildingbytheendoftheyear.到年底前我们就建这座大楼。

8、oneof+某物

"oneof+复数名词/代词"意为“...之一",作主语时谓语动词用单数形式。

e.g:Itwasquitedelicious,andso,oneoftheworld'sfavoritedrinkswasinvented.

它十分可口,因此,世界上最受喜爱的饮料之一被发明。

9、pleasure,pleased,pleasant

1)pleasure是名词“高兴,愉快,乐趣”,在口语中常用It’sapleasure,Withpleasure等作客套语。

e.g:—Willyougowithme你同我一起去好吗

—Withpleasure.好。

2)pleased形容词,表示“高兴的,满意的,感到高兴的",主语只能是人。结构:

bepleasedwith/aboutsth.

bepleasedtodosth.

bepleased+that从句

e.g:Wearepleasedwithhiswork.我们对他的工作很满意。

3)pleasant形容词,主语是物时,指“使人感到愉快的、高兴的”,

主语是人时,指“高兴的,愉快的,态度友好的"。

e.g:It'spleasanttoworkwithyou.与你共事令人愉快。

Hespentapleasantevening.他度过了一个愉快的夜晚。

10、It做形式主语的句子

It'shardtotellwhocameupwiththeideafirst.谁第一个想到这个观点的,这很难说。

【点拨】:该句是主从复合句,who引导的是宾语从句,作动词tell的宾语。

句中It作形式主语,动词不定式totell...是句子的真实主语。

13、被动语态

一般过去时被动语态形式:be(was/were)+done(动词过去分词).

否定形式:wasn't/weren'tdone.

疑问句形式:Wasn't/Weren't+主语+done...

(was是am和is的过去式,were是are的过去式)

【括展】:一般过去时的主动语态与被动语态比较

e.g.:AlexandarGrahamBellinventedthetelephonein1876.(一般过去时主动语态)

【点拨】:"sbdidsth..."是主动形式的表达;

其被动形式则是:"sthwasdone(bysb)..."

【总结】:将动作的承受者变为动作的执行者,句子的时态不变,将助动词改成be动词+动词的过去分词。
