groups.Thefirstgroupparticipatedinaprogramofnonaerobic(无氧)exercise-balance

trainingandweighttraining-threetimesaweek.Thesecondgroupdidhigh-intensityaerobic

exerciseundertheguidanceofatrainerfbrfourormoredaysaweek.Aftertwoyears,the

secondgroupsawremarkableimprovementsinhearthealth.

"Wetookthese50-year-oldheartsandturnedtheclockbackto30-or35-year-old

hearts,"saysLevine."Andthereasontheygotsomuchstrongerandfitterwasthattheirhearts
