(1)询问外貌的表达:

②sb.+have/has+n.(名词前可以有形容词来修饰),表示“某人有着…的…"

e.g.他有着小小的眼睛而且还戴着一副眼镜。

④sb.+be+描述人物外貌特征的形容词(tall,short,thin,heavy等),表示“某人是…的"

(2)询问性格或者外貌的表达:

Whatbe+主语+like

…是什么样的人?多用于提问人的性格、品质等,也可用来提问人的外貌。

答语:sb.be+描述人物性格或品质的形容词(quiet,shy,friendly等)

2.选择疑问句的用法

选择疑问句是由一般疑问句加上另外一种可选择的答案构成,这样的疑问句不能像一般疑问句一样直接用yes/no来回答,而应该在两个选择中任选其一作为答语,若两个答案都不是正确答语就自行回答。

e.g.成功减重后贾玲是感到高兴还是沮丧?—她是高兴的。

3.辨析:alittle,little,afew,few

词组用法

alittle表示“有点,稍微”,修饰形容词或副词,表示程度

表示“一些,少许”,修饰不可数名词,表示有但是不多(表肯定)

littleadj.几乎没有(表否定),修饰不可数名词

adj.年龄小的或带有怜爱、同情的含义,修饰有生命的名词

afew表示“有一些;有点”,修饰可数名词(表肯定)

few表示“几乎没有”,修饰可数名词(表否定)

e.g.是的,但是我可能会晚一点。

他只花了一点点时间就完成了家庭作业。

4.辨析:each,every

(1)each指两个或两个以上的人或事物中的“每一个”,后面可以与of搭配使用。

e.g.考试后,老师和班上的每一个人都进行了谈话。

eachof后面可以直接接代词,如果接名词,必须要有定冠词、物主代词、指示代词等修饰,作主语,要看作单数。

4.辨析:each,every

e.g.我的每一个孩子都应该帮我分担家务。

each后面也可以直接修饰单数可数名词,谓语动词也用单数。

e.g.每个人都有他自己的目标。

(2)every指三者或三者以上的人或事物的“每一个”,后面不能与of连用,直接修饰单数可数名词。

8.worry的用法

(1)worryn.担心,忧虑

e.g.我妻子的忧虑正在损害着她的健康。

常用短语:worryabout…=beworriedabout…

e.g.他为几个在当兵打仗的儿子担心。

9.wouldlike的用法

wouldlike意为“愿意;喜欢”,可缩写成“’dlike”,相当于want,但语气更加委婉,且没有人称和数的变化。其常见用法如下:

想要某物

想做某事,相当于wanttodosth.

Wouldlikesb.todosth.想要某人做某事,相当于wantsb.todosth.

9.wouldlike的用法

Wouldyoulike…句型常用于礼貌地询问对方的意愿,或委婉地提出请求、建议等。具体用法如下:
