1.过去完成时

主句为过去完成时,从句是一般过去时,主句动作发生在从句之前。

两个动作同时进行,主从句都是一般过去时或过去进行时。

1.由时间状语来判定

(1)by+过去的时间点。

2.由“过去的过去"判定

(1)宾语从句中:当宾语从句的主句为一般过去时,且从句的动作先于主句的动作时,从句要用过去完成时。在told,said,knew,heard,thought等动词后的宾语从句。

如:她说她以前看过这电影。

Shesaidthatshehadseenthefilmbefore.

看电影是在她说之前做的。

1.过去完成时

(2)状语从句中:在时间、条件、原因、方式等状语从句中,主、从句的动作发生有先后关系,动作在前的,要用过去完成时,动作在后的要用一般过去时。

如:当我到达车站时,火车已经离开了。

火车离开发生在我到达车站之前。

注意:before,after引导的时间状语从句中,由于before和after本身已表达了动作的先后关系,若主、从句表示的动作紧接着发生,则主、从句都用一般过去时。

在没有明确的过去时间状语作标志时,谓语动词动作发生的时间先后须依据上下文来判断:

先发生的用过去完成时,后发生的则用一般过去时。

1.过去完成时

时态定义常见的时间状语例句

一般过去时在过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。

yesterday,lastweek,ago,justnow等Thebuslefttwo

现在完成时过去发生或已发生的动作对现在造成的影响

just,never,ever,sofar,already,since,for等Thebushasalreadyleft.

过去完成时在过去某个时间或动作之前就已发生的动作,即表示动作发生的时间是“过去的过去"。bythetime+从句;by

theendoflast+时间段;____________before+过去时间状语等Bythetimetheygottothebusstop,thebushadalreadyleft.

make+sb./sth.+do“使某人/某事做..."

make作使役动词,意为“使变得;使成为”,常接复合宾语,构成“make+宾语+宾语补足语"结构,其中宾语可以是sb.或sth.,宾语补足语可以是名词、形容词、不带to的不定式、过去分词等。

“make+宾语+形容词”意为“使......处于某种状态"。

“make+宾语+dosth.”意为“使......做某事”,不带to的不定式作

宾语补足语。

【特别提醒】“make+宾语+dosth.”结构用在被动语态中时,省略的不定式符号to要还原,即“主语+bemadetodosth.(…...被迫做某事)"。

感(feel)、使(make)、让(let,have)、助(help)等。

【归纳拓展】

make只能跟动词不定式(省略to)作宾补,但不能跟现在分词作宾补。但是有些动词,如see,find,watch,notice,hear等,它们既可以接不带to的不定式作宾补,表示已经完成。也可以接现在分词作宾补,表示动作正在进行或发生。

(“唱”这个动作正在进行)

“make+宾语+名词"意为“使......成为……”,名词前通常不加冠词,且名词通常是表示官职或头衔的词。

“make+宾语+过去分词"意为“使......被……”,宾语可以是与主语一致的反身代词。该结构有被动含义,但翻译时通常不用被字句。

3.辨析wouldrather与ratherthan

词组意义用法例句

wouldrather宁愿缩写形式为’drather,后接动词原形,表示主观上的愿望、偏爱或选择;没有人称、数、词性和时态的变化;否定形式为wouldrathernotdoOldpeoplewouldratherenjoythebeautyofnature.

老年人宁愿欣赏自然之美。

ratherthan并非;而不是常用作连词词组,连接两个并列成分,后面可以接名词、代词、动词、介词短语等;当ratherthan连接两个名词或代词作主语时,谓语动词应与ratherthan前面的名词或代词在人称和数上保持一致。此时可将ratherthan看作一个插入成分,可忽略Youratherthanshearegoingtocleantheclassroom.

neither...nor...既不……也不……三者均可以连接并列成分;

如果连接两个并列主语,句子的谓语动词要跟较近的主语在人称和数上保持一致,即“就近一致"。如:
