managed23classesperweek.Longandherclassmatescherishedtheopportunity(olearnand
workeddiligently.
ThevolunteersnotonlytaughtknowledgetoLongbutalsodevelopedherpersonalgrowth.
TheyencouragedhertodeliverspeechesattheschooPsflag-raisingceremonies,helpingtobuild
herconfidence.Theyalsobroadenedherviewsbeyondthemountains.InAugust2017,Long
participatedinaneducationaltriptoBeijingorganizedbythevolunteers,whichstrengthenedher
couragetostudyoutsidethemountainsandhaveaccesstobettereducationalresourcesandawider
world.
Unfortunately,in2020.herfatherwasinvolvedinacaraccident,placingthefamilyinfinancial
