GeneralUnitStructure(asaguide):
Eachmainunitoftencontains:
*Topic:Acentraltheme(e.g.,"MyFriends,""Food,""SchoolLife").
*Vocabulary:Keywordsandphrasesrelatedtothetopic.
*Grammar:Specificgrammaticalstructures(e.g.,presenttenseof'be,'pluralnouns,possessiveadjectives,presentcontinuoustense).
*SkillsFocus:Particularemphasisoncertainskills(e.g.,listeningforspecificinformation,speakingfluently,readingforgist).
ForEachUnit,Consider:
1.Warm-up/Review(5-10minutes):Activatepriorknowledgerelatedtothenewtopicorreviewpreviousunitcontentthroughgames,quickdialogues,orvocabularychecks.
3.Practice(Controlled&Semi-controlled)(20-25minutes):
*MechanicalPractice:Repetition,substitutiondrills(oralandwritten)tobuildaccuracy.
