AnalysisofTeachingMaterialandthestudents:

“TheNightoftheHorse"是一篇古希腊的神话故事,故事主要描述了古希腊人用计谋打败了特洛伊人的经过。文章本身没有很多语言点和语法要求,但是由于文章篇幅较长,而故事发生的背景不为学生所熟知,这些都给我的教学设计与实施带来了一些难度。鉴于初三学生已有一定的语言基础和丰富的学习经历,我在本节的教学设计中主要目的是让学生运用已有的语言知识,围绕着故事主题进行浅层、深层阅读等活动逐步进入课文的情景当中,而在课堂中,为了提高学生的积极性,我将小组竞赛的形式贯穿整个课堂,也使课堂活泼,同时也使得学生的注意力增强了。加深了对课文的认知后,学生通过获得、处理和传达信息来积极主动地发表自己的观点,在英语环境中,轻松愉快的完成对这篇故事的学习任务,而也体验到了用自己的语言表达英语带来的成就感。
