AnalysisofTeachingMaterialandthestudents:

“TheNightoftheHorse"是一篇古希腊的神话故事,故事主要描述了古希腊人用计谋打败了特洛伊人的经过。文章本身没有很多语言点和语法要求，但是由于文章篇幅较长，而故事发生的背景不为学生所熟知，这些都给我的教学设计与实施带来了一些难度。鉴于初三学生已有一定的语言基础和丰富的学习经历，我在本节的教学设计中主要目的是让学生运用已有的语言知识，围绕着故事主题进行浅层、深层阅读等活动逐步进入课文的情景当中，而在课堂中，为了提高学生的积极性，我将小组竞赛的形式贯穿整个课堂，也使课堂活泼，同时也使得学生的注意力增强了。加深了对课文的认知后，学生通过获得、处理和传达信息来积极主动地发表自己的观点，在英语环境中，轻松愉快的完成对这篇故事的学习任务，而也体验到了用自己的语言表达英语带来的成就感。
