阅读材料提示:这部分内容由教师指导,学生自学。以提高学生的自主学能力。ApplyingGreenLogisticstoSupplyChains把绿色物流应用于供应链中Althoughinthepasttheenvironmentwasnotamajorpreoccupationorpriorityintheindustryitself,thelasttwodecadeshaveshownaremarkablechangeasgreenlogisticsbecameincreasinglypartofthesupplychainmanagementdiscourseandpractices.Thestandardthemesofmaterialsmanagementandphysicaldistributioncanbeexpandedwithanadditionalfocusonstrategiesabletomitigatetheparadoxicalnatureofgreenlogistics:ProductdesignandproductionplanningTheconventionalfocusofproductdesignanddevelopmentistheimprovementofitscommercialandcompetitiveattributessuchasprice,quality,featuresandperformance.Thisprocessiscommonforelectronicgoodsaseachnewgenerationofaproduct(computers,phones,televisions)isquantitativelyandqualitativelybetter.Productsareincreasinglybeingconsideredfromasupplychainperspective,namelytheirsourcinganddistributionwheretheconcernisaboutdesigningorredesigningsupplychainsthataremoreenvironmentallyfriendly.Thiscaninvolvethephysicalcharacteristicsoftheproductitself(lighter,alternativematerials)orproductionprocessesthatallowforahighertransportdensityofparts.Suppliersthatarecloser(nearsourcing)maybeconsideredeveniftheymaybemoreexpensive,sothattransportationcostscanbereduced.
Adecisioncanalsobemadetopreferablycontractsuppliersthathavedemonstratedthatthepartsandresourcestheyprovidehavebeenprocuredinasustainablemanner.Physical
distributionConcernedaboutstrategiestoreducetheenvironmentalimpactsofphysicaldistribution,namelythetransportationandwarehousingprocesses.Itcouldinvolvetheusageoffacilitiesthathavebeencertifiedasenvironmentallyefficient(LeadershipinEnergy&EnvironmentalDesign-LEED-isagloballyrecognizedcertificationscheme)aswellascarriersabidingtoenvironmentallyfriendlyprinciples.Preferencescouldalsobeplacedondelayingshipmentsuntilasufficientloadfactorisreached.Theusageofalternativemodesandfuelsisincreasinglyapplied,particularlyforcitylogistics.Forlongdistancetravelamodalshifttorailandeconomiesofscaleonmaritimeshippingareconsideredstrategiesthatmayleadtogreenersupplychains.Materials
