heavilyonthesupplychainforactuators(motors,bearings,reducers,andsensors)thatcanaccountforupto50%+ofarobot'sbillofmaterials.

Inourview,thecurrentrateofchangeofChina'srobotsupplychaincapabilitymaywidenvs.theUSatanacceleratingrateoverthenext5years.Inouropinion,

decisiveactionisneededtokeeptheUScompetitive(relevant?)vs.theChineseonAl-enabledroboticsby2030.Whilemuchworkislefttodo,thisreporthelpsidentifyUS-exposednameswithunderappreciatedoptionalitytotheemergingphysicalAI/roboticsecosystem.

dronesandcriticalcomponents.Thisspecificdecisionencompassesawiderangeof

productsrangingfromservicerobots,AMRs,humanoid,quadrupeds,andsomeconsumerrobotics;itwouldexcludemosttraditionalindustrialrobots.

•WhatistheFCCCoveredList?Equipmentplacedonthelistisprohibitedfrom

receivingFCCequipmentauthorizationforittobeimported,marketed,orsoldintheUS.RobotsqualifybecausetheycarryembeddedWiFi/Bluetooth/cellular

radios.It'simportanttonotethattherestrictionappliestonewmodelsseeking

authorization.Existingauthorizedmodelsalreadyinthefieldarenotretroactivelybanned.TheFCCmadeasimilardecisioninDecember2025ondrones,which

mustbeUS-assembledwithroughly65%domesticcontentbyvaluetoescapethelabel.BasedonanalysisfromourChinaRoboticsteam(ledbyShengZhong),actuatorcontentalonecanaccountfornearly50%ormoreofthetotalbill-of-materialsofahumanoid

robotwithanupto3x+gapinpricebetweenChina-producedandnon-China-produced

components.Combinedwithsemiconductorandbatterycontent,webelieveitmaybe

challengingformostUS-assembledrobotstodaytoqualify.Whileourteams'prior
