36、、语法结构单纯、语汇相对贫乏。因此,语言浅显的英语儿歌把正确的语法、语汇与儿童的口语结合起来,形成优美的、规范的少儿英语口语,适应了儿童语言发展的水平,能被孩子们理解和接受。英语儿歌中使用的词汇主要是名词(动物、植物、食物、日常用品、交通工具等)、动词(走、跑、跳、爬等基本动作)、形容词(颜色、形状、大小等),这些词反映的事物及其属性比较具体,契合了儿童的思维特点。同时,英语儿歌中简单句的大量使用,容易为他们所接受和掌握。2 形象具体可感。英语儿歌作品的语言特别强调形象性,着力于对人和事物的具体描绘,突出它的形态感、色彩感和动作感。所描绘的人、物,使幼儿念起来感到如临其境、如见其人、如闻其声、
37、如触其物。英语儿歌中的摹声和拟人表现手法的运用,增强了儿歌的形象性。3 音韵自然和谐。儿歌与音乐密切联系,儿歌中特有的悦耳和谐的音韵和鲜明的节奏能使幼儿产生愉悦感。有些儿歌在内容上没有多大意义,但其和谐的韵律从听觉上给人以愉悦。因而儿歌的语言不仅要求浅显、口语化,而且须有严格的韵律、明朗的节奏,或形成有规律的反复。节奏可以帮助推动情节的发展,同时带给作品内在的乐感; 反复的表现手法使同样的语言根据情节多次反复,给幼儿以深刻的印象。4适于进行表演。小学阶段的少年儿童主要是以具体形象性思维为主,用动作辅助儿歌教学既符合学生的这种思维方式,又顺应了学生表现欲强的心理特点。在英语儿歌作品中,富于动感的
38、语言能有效地唤起幼儿的注意,加以动作表演更能增强他们对内容的理解,更能刺激孩子们的表现欲, 从而增强自信心。正因为英语儿歌具有这些其他英语文学形式所不能比拟的独特特点,因此在英语教学中我们提倡重视英语儿歌的教学,以此来陶冶学生的性情,开启他们的心智,从而促进他们英语听说能力的发展。(二) 学习儿歌的重要性正因为儿歌具备以上特点, 因此它是英语教学中的调料, 是小学生学习英语的拐杖, 是英语学习初级阶段的必修课。1 英语儿歌是英语教学中的调料。学习英语儿歌是提高学生学习兴趣的有效手段。从心理学角度来看, 学习兴趣是学习者的一种学习愿望和学习意向, 这种愿望或意向是驱使个体进行学习的根本动力, 它
39、是构成学习动机中内推力的一个重要组成部分。学习动机是激发个体进行学习的活动、维持已引起的学习活动, 并致使个体的学习活动朝向一定的学习目标的一种内部启动机制。学习动机一旦形成, 它就会自始至终, 贯穿于某一学习活动的全过程。对于少儿学习者来说,学好英语无疑是“愉快,有趣”。英语儿歌由于内容丰富生动,语言浅显,节奏明快,是活在孩子们口头上的英语文学。它很容易激发少儿的学习兴趣,保持少儿的学习动力,是非常适合孩子门学习的一种形式。2 英语儿歌是学生学习英语的拐杖。学习儿歌是语言学习入门阶段必要而有效的一种学习方式。学习儿歌既能帮助儿童巩固所学的句型、单词, 又能丰富他们的知识, 也能由此激发学生学
40、习兴趣和创造性思维,并拓展了学生的思维。儿歌是少儿口头传唱的歌谣,它在任何一种语言中都是语言的启迪,是孩子们最有效的学习工具。3 英语儿歌是英语学习初级阶段的必修课。学习儿歌符合时代特点, 是新课标中的一项重要内容。 “能唱简单的英文歌曲, 说简单的英文歌谣。” “能根据所学内容表演对话或歌谣。”这两句分别选自英语课程标准中一级和二级的目标总体描述, 可见英语儿歌的教学不再是教师的个体行为, 已成为英语课堂教学中必不可少的重要组成部分。二 课堂教学中如何进行儿歌的教学。(一) 创设情景, 以学生喜闻乐见的形式呈现儿歌内容。学生喜欢说儿歌, 它们也喜欢听故事, 做游戏等活动, 如果把儿歌教学与其
41、他学生喜闻乐见的形式结合起来就会起到事半功倍的效果。1 以故事形式呈现儿歌内容。很多英语儿歌都具有一定的情节, 把这些情节串起来就构成了一个小故事。在课堂教学中, 以故事的形式将儿歌呈现出来, 既能帮学生理解儿歌的含义,把握儿歌的层次, 又提高了学生的学习兴趣。如先锋英语一年级上第五单元的儿歌, 就是一个具有故事情节的小儿歌:A little insect, jump, jump, jump. Jump over the ice cream. Jump over the jacket. Jump into a jeep to have a good sleep. 在进行这首儿歌的教学时, 教师
42、首先出示昆虫的图片, 引导学生学习生词an insect, 并用问题 “What can an insect do?”启发学生想象, 一旦学生回答出 “An insect can jump.”教师就开始讲故事: “A little insect jump, jump, jump.” (little一次的含义已在前一课时以游戏的方式渗透过)教师边讲故事边做动作, 引导学生模仿。学生熟悉了这个句子后, 用问题: “What can he see?” 将故事情节向前推进, 出示图片并学习生词an ice cream, 借助前面学过的儿歌 “An apple for you. An apple for
43、 me. An apple for the monkey up in the tree. No, no, no.” 将情景设计为 “An ice cream for the insect” 引发学生思考 “yes or no?” 此时教师用图片演示 “Jump over the ice cream.” 告诉学生: “An ice cream for the insect. No, no, no. ” 然后以同样的方式处理jacket和jeep 两个生词和儿歌的最后三行。就这样让学生边听故事, 边学生词, 边把儿歌的语言和含义呈现给学生, 学生接受得顺利, 兴趣也就调动起来了, 为后面操练儿歌打
44、下了很好的基础。2 以游戏方式呈现儿歌内容。有些儿歌中有很多重复的语言, 这些重复使用的语言一旦掌握了, 背诵儿歌也就不成问题了。为了让学生能尽快的掌握这些重复使用的语言, 教师可以在儿歌教学前安排一些小游戏帮学生操练。如在进行先锋英语一年级上册第四单元的儿歌( Is it a gift? Is it blue? Is it for the girl? No, its for you.)教学时可以先组织学生运用 “Is it a gift? Is it blue?” 做猜物品的名字和颜色的游戏, 并边学生词边引导学生把生词带入游戏语言。词汇学完后学生也基本上掌握了儿歌的语言, 在此基础上学习儿
45、歌岂不是水到渠成?3 以问题设置情景呈现儿歌内容。有些儿歌也有一定的情节, 但又不适合用来讲故事, 那么我们就可以用问题把这些情节串联起来, 以回答问题的形式呈现儿歌内容。如根据先锋英语一年级上册第六单元的儿歌( Its after school. Lets go to the zoo. Put on your hat and take your kite. Lock the door and take the key. Buy some lollipops for you and me.) 我就设计了以下问题: 放学后你想去哪呀? 你出去玩会带些什么呀? 出门之前要做什么? 你想买些什么吃的
46、吗? 由于这些问题是为情节服务的, 教师提问和学生回答时都可用汉英两种语言进行。引导学生逐一回答问题, 将答案连起来就构成了儿歌的内容。(二) 注重体验, 促使学生调动多种感官感受儿歌内容。心理学通过实验证明学习过程的活动形式越多样,学习者参与到学习中的感官越多,学习的效果也就越好, 对于活泼好动的小学生更是如此, 因此在教学重要尽可能的调动学生将多种感官参与到学习过程中, 儿歌教学也不例外。1 视听结合视听结合特别适用于儿歌学习的输入阶段。 为了不让孩子产生视觉疲劳教师应尽可能多的提供视觉信号的刺激,如在一首儿歌的教学中, 教师可让学生边听儿歌, 边看图片演示, 也可边听儿歌边看课件演示, 或者教师边说边做动作。为了提高听的效果, 除了以上说的几种方法, 还应注意化整为零, 化难为易的原则, 也就是说先部分呈现儿歌内容, 最后再完整呈现。2 说做结合说做结合一般运用在儿歌学习的输出阶段。 在儿歌教学中, 教师可以根据儿歌的内容加入一些形象的动作, 可别小看这几个简单的动作, 它对儿童学习语言起到了不可估量的作用。从发展心理学的角度看来,小孩学习语言一般先用身体反应,而后再学会用语言进行反应,强调理解先于开口。对于形象思维为主的儿童, 在儿歌的
