4、oftware for CNC automatic programming. The main functions are: Mastercam X是广泛使 用的自动编程软件,它的主要功能是:,The General of Automatic Programming,(1)Create the geometry modeling; (1)创建几何模型; (2)Create the tool path; (2)创建刀具路径; (3)Verify the cutting process; (3)验证切削过程; (4)Create the G codes . (4)生成G代码。,1.Create t

5、he Geometry Modeling,You can create the geometry in the one of two ways: 可以通过下面两种方式之一创建几何模型: (1)By using the graphical design interface is provided by Mastercam X. (1)使用Mastercam X提供的交互绘图设计。 (2)By making the design in CAD software, e.g. UG, Pro/Engineer, Solidworks then saving it in a format that Ma

6、stercam X can import. (2)在CAD软件,比如UG、Pro/Engineer、Solidworks中进行设计,然后保存成Mastercam X能导入的格式。,1.Create the Geometry Modeling,In this task we will use Mastercam X software to create the geometry modeling(Fig. 2 -4 -1). 本任务中我们使用Mastercam X创建几何模型,如图2 -4 -1所示。,2.Creating the Tool Path,(1)Select the machine

7、type (1)选择机床类型 Click Machine Type Millselect the machine type. 点击机床类型 铣床选择机床类型。 (2)Look for an existing tool that you may want to use (2)选择所需的刀具 Click Toolpaths Tool Manager in the “Tool Manager” dialog box, all available tools are displayed. You can search for a particular type by scrolling down th

8、e list or by using the “Filter” button and entering the search information. 点击刀具路径 刀具管理在“刀具管理”对话框中显示所有可以选择的刀具。可以通过滚动条查找需要的刀具或者使用“过滤”按钮通过输入信息进行查找。,2.Creating the Tool Path,(3)Create the tool path (3)生成刀具路径 Click the main menu Toolpaths Surface Rough Rough Parallel Toolpath dialog box will pop up sele

9、ct “Boss” click . 点击主菜单刀具路径 曲面粗加工 粗加工平行铣削加工弹出对话框选择零件形状为“凸”单击 。 Select the part surfaces to be machined: Click on the surfaces that you wish to machine on the part. Make sure that all the surfaces have been selected then click . 选择零件被加工表面:单击所要加工的零件表面,确保所有要加工的表面都被选择,然后单击。 Setting surface rough paralle

10、l parameter. 设定粗加工平行铣削加工参数。,3.Verify the Cutting Process,Before a part is machined, the CAM model needs to be verified that the part program is correct. The purposes of verification are: 在一个零件加工之前,需要验证CAM模型的零件程序是否正确。验证的目的是: (1)To detect geometric error of the cutter path; (1)检测刀具切削路径的几何错误; (2)To det

11、ect potential tool interference; (2)检测刀具的潜在干涉; (3)To detect erroneous cutting conditions. (3)检测错误的切削条件。,3.Verify the Cutting Process,To begin verification, select one more operations in the Toolpath Manger list, then click the verify button , use the control buttons located at the top of the “Verify

12、” dialog box to running simulation. The result of verification is as follow(Fig.2 -4 -2). 验证开始前,在刀具路径管理器中选择一种或多种操作,然后点击验证按钮,使用 “验证”对话框上部的控制按钮进行仿真。验证结果如图2 -4 -2所示。,4.Create the G Codes,Different CNC machines use slightly different versions of G codes. 不同的数控机床所使用的G代码形式有一定的区别。 The conversion of the mac

13、hining data to the G codes specific for a particular CNC machine is called post -processing. 将加工的数据转换成某一机床所需的G代码格式称为后处理。 The format of the G code is stored in different post -processing files and the system will use whichever post -processing format you select. G代码被存储成不同格式的后处理文件,可以根据需要选择后处理文件格式。,4.C

14、reate the G Codes,From the left panel in the Toolpaths tab select the G1 icon the “Post -processing” dialog box pops up click input the file name. 从刀具路径标签的左侧面板中选择图标弹出“后处理”对话框点击 输入文件名。 Once the G codes are generated, we will allow you to see the G codes file and modify if required. 生成G代码后,可以查看G代码并可以进
